RE: John D and Sarah C Garner
I'm sorry I'm so dense. You're saying John Donahoo Garner is buried in the Tinnin cemetery too? Does he have a marker? Can you photograph it?

If he is buried there, I'll create a Find-A-Grave page for him too.

Do you know when he died?

We're talking about John D Garner's grave, right?

Does it have a marker? can you read it? Can you photograph it? Can you create a Find-A-Grave page for it? If it's not in a graveyard, you can still create a page and just explain "Buried on private property in (near?) Tillatoba, Yalobusha County, Mississippi."

Please share your information.

Thanks for letting me know where the grave is.

Robert Earl Boyette
I see you left a token for Robert Earl Boyette. Can you tell me who his mother was. I am wondering if she was Lela Moore Boyette. Thank you for your help.

RE: John D and Sarah C Garner
Have you ever been to the Harrison-Tinnin Cemetery where Sarah Caroline Tinnin Garner is buried, or do you know much about it?

I only know about it from PDF file I came across which had the grave descriptions and photos. From that and a couple of web pages I created the Find A Grave pages for the cemetery. Any chance you live nearby it?

RE: John D and Sarah C Garner
It's great to contact a descendant of Sarah Caroline Tinnin and John Donahoo Garner. Especially a great great grandchild. I'm a great great grandchild of John's uncle, George W. Garner, so you and I are fourth cousins, once removed.

My email address is here. Can we switch to email?
If yes, send me a note. If no, I'll try to swap info with you through Find A Grave messages.

I enjoyed your story about the pronunciation of Donahoo. It's hard to guess how a name is pronounced. I had an uncle named Mueller, but he pronounced it Miller. I had a hard time learning that.

I'd like to learn more about Sally and John, and I'll share what I can about George.

John D and Sarah C Garner
You wrote: "Sarah Caroline Tinnin Garner, wife of John Donahoo Garner". I only had "C" and "D". How do you know that their middle names are Caroline and Donahoo?

John D and I are first cousins, three times removed.

Dr. Brad 'Mr. Cotton' Waddle
Thank you for posting on Uncle Brut's birthday.
I continue searching for ancestors for Bolivar/Boliver Taylor, Brad's grandfather. Hope someday to patch the fence and trace the line more completely, as Brad had done for our Waddles.
Thank you more for loving him; I was truly a fortunate niece.

Donna,

I just saw a posting from about 10 years ago on Ancestry. It referred to you and gave some info on my family I'd not seen before. I'm related to the Caffeys and Dixons of Grenada, MS and would love to exchange info.
