My grandmother, Katy Katherine Crum Norris was sister to Florence Crum Hicks, wife of Gabriel Hicks. Gabriel was brother to Anderson Hicks. I visited this summer(2012)trying to determine exact location of Gabe's grave. Do you have any knowledge of the location? The library in Newport has good records of funeral homes which list death certificates. Anderson is listed as buried in Harper-Raines. I visited the cemetery last summer, 2011 and the only stones that can be read are those of the Wiley's. You wrote that Andersen Hicks is buried next to his wife. Is there some sort of plat map or info available? I have seen material that George Washington Crum and wife Cansada Parton are located there but have no documentation. Also I am searching for son of John J. and Susan Scroggins b1872 died at age of 18, possibility located in Harper.

There is a Nora Lee Lowe buried at this Cemetery. Do you know if this is the sister of Thomas J Barkley I. He had a sister who was married to my great grandfather (Ser Walter Lowe) and I am trying to find her grave and any information on her.
