Change made on obit....
Thanks Terry for changing obit on Charles B. Kincaid newspaper article to read "Gerald" instead of wrong spelling/name, where siblings were listed as survivors.

Regards,
M. K. Marrow

RE: Richard B. Smith -grave location
Glad you were able to understand the map. Where are you coming from? I live in Honesdale, and we have yet to have any snow this winter....the winter wonderland has just not happened (yet). The courthouse is still there, along with Richards home, I'm sure he had a wonderful view looking out the window thru the park (it's very small, no comparison to the "other" Central Park, lol.

If you do plan on visiting, you should also drive up to Irving Cliff (lots of history involving Washington Irving), as well as stopping by to see the Stourbridge Lion.

Just curious....are you related to Mr. Smith? And / or if you have any other family information, I would be happy to edit his memorial.

Best to you!
Caz

PS. You have a very distinctive writing style that is an enjoyment to read! :)

RE: Richard B. Smith -grave location
Sorry for the miscommunication - I posted the picture on Richard's findagrave memorial (# 118424776). I have never been able to obtain an actual plot map for the cemetery, so it is just a general google map.

Let me know if you have problems viewing. Tomorrow *Jan 1st* - is my birthday, so hoping to celebrate well tonight! Hoping I remember to duck when I see falling firework debris!! lol

Best to you & Happy New Year!

RE: Richard B. Smith -grave location
I've attached a map which shows the general location of his headstone. If I remember correctly, there are other Smith family members around him, as well.

Happy New Year!

RE: Joseph Alexander Frazier
he did not have a marker but we his gg children each gave 5 dollars to get him a marker. We are a very large family. His wife Mary E Mooney is buried on the hill, there is a set of white marble steps with a pine tree on each side. She is about 3 rows back. There are a lot of Fraziers in Oak lawn. This is my mother's family. Mary Ethel Frazier/Fisher

Edwin H. Dotter Jr.
Hi Terry,

Could you please remove the photo of the grave on Edwin Jr.'s memorial (# 77282944) and add it to his father's, Edwin H. Dotter Sr.'s memorial (155263862).
I did not realize it was the wrong picture until someone else brought it to my attention. I really would appreciate your help.

Thank you so much,
Kathy

I am not that good with Find A Grave as of yet. I have only added one Memorial because I really do not know how to do them yet. I do not want to mess up

I am starting a family tree and would like to use your pictures you have on findagrave for the Curnuttes. I will not use them without your permission. If you don't want them on there, I understand that too. There is not a section to give you credit for the pictures, but I will add it in the section for cause of death or occupation since I don't know them. I understand either way man. I appreciate you taking the time to make memorials and post pictures of my family and don't want to make anyone mad. I can give you a complete list if you's like ( assuming you don't mind ). If you do, no hard feelings.

Quick question
How much do you know about John Howard Curnutte? I seen the memorial you created for him and have a question. I was told my great grandmother Verna ( Curnutte ) Morrison was the daughter of a John H Morrison. I was wondering if it could be him. My grandmother isn't listed on his memorial and I don't know anything about the family roots. Any information would be appreciated

Terry,

Thank you, very much, for finding and logging my uncle's memorial (# 149736758), and then transferring it to me. I had been searching for him for decades.

I appreciate the work you do.

Sincerely,

Hurtt Memorials
Hi, Terry.

I was wondering if you might transfer the memorials of Mary Elizabeth and Edwin H. Hurtt (Oaklawn Cemetery, East Point MD) to me, please. This is my great grandmother and father and I have been trying for quite a while now to find out anything about them. Finding these memorials and being able to link my grandmother up with some of her family has been super, super exciting. Thank you so much for adding these memorials.

No need to transfer. I am not related in any way... Just mowing rows at the cemetery which is only four blocks from my house. I enjoy matching cemeteries with burial unknowns. Makes me day. :)

RE: Thank you. (fulfilling photo request)
You are very welcome. I got lucky! I wrote down the 100+ photo requests because I knew I was stopping in Beckley (I live in Charlotte, NC) and wouldn't have very much time and was extremely surprised to fulfill as many as I did.

Elizabeth Jane Bailey Stanley
Hi Terry,
I have most of the same information about the extra children. I have not really tried to sort it out. However, I do have Fleming and Elizabeth getting a divorce in 1855 and Fleming not being around to contest it. So it is a good bet that any kids born after that date were not his. I believe he was in Virginia and possibly even in the army ( I've only one source on the army so not real sure on that). I am not easily shocked after 22 years in the USMC.
I really appreciate you letting me have the memorials. I won't change anything I will just add to it. You have done good work and I hope to add to it. Thanks you.

Fleming Stanley
Hi Terry, Fleming Stanley is my 3x great grandfather. He did die during the Civil War of disease at a Richmond hospital. He was in Company B 24th Virginia Infantry. You may use this info, I could not figure out how to post this on his memorial site you fixed up for him. Thanks much.
