I'm happy to be transfered the graves and write a bio. I'm new to this site but I would like to try and add myself.

How are you related to the Foster's?

RE: Jane Lockhart #150824141
I am researching my 2x G Grandmother, Susan Augusta Lockhart (1855-1928). She and her sister, Amaret Priscilla Lockhart (1857-1910), appear to be the two offspring of James Lockhart and "Jane" per their wedding records at novascotiageneology.com. On 20 Nov 1860, their father (widower) marries Margaret Agnes Harvie.

You have a Jane Lockhart Memorial #150824141 with a note that she was 56 at the time of her death in 1857 and the wife of Levi Lockhart. However, I find a record on novascotiageneology.com that Martha Jane (Harvie) Lockhart wife of Levi R. Lockhart died at age 34 on 14 Apr 1869.

I would love for your Jane Lockhart to be James' Jane Lockhart instead of Levi's. Her death in 1857 puts her in my assumed timeline. :)

I wonder if you have an actual photo of the gravesite and/or anything else you might be able to add to my search.

Thanks so much!
Tobi G.

RE: MAURICE REYNOLDS
One of the changes you submitted changed Maurice's wife from Harriet Belknap to "unknown" I made the other changes you submitted. If you see anything on that memorial that needs to be changed, let me know. Thanks

Photos of Graves in Oakhill Cemetery, Ellershouse‏
Hi Barbara,

My Great-Grand Uncle and Aunts and their families are in this cemetery and I wanted to ask if you knew a way that I could get photographs of the graves? If you know of anyone who I could contact that would be great!

I am looking for:

Charles FOSTER (1882 - 1936) and his wife Clara Maud MOREHAM (1881 - 1967)

Their children:
Hazel Maud FOSTER (1909 - 1986) married Frederick Allen ROSS (1914 - 1946)
Kathleen Alice FOSTER (1911 - 1973)
Mabel Ruth FOSTER (1913 - 1982) married James Frederick LYTTLE (1908 - 1995)
Madeline Clara FOSTER (1915 - ?) married Hugh Hiram LYGHTLE (1916 - ?)
Richard Charles FOSTER (1918 - 1979) married Marguerite PELLEY (1923 - Still Alive?)

Charles and his wife Clara emigrated from England to Nova Scotia in 1908 and Charles's two younger sisters joined them the next year.

Julia FOSTER (1887 - 1925) married Welsford Ralph PARKER (1895 - 1976). They are buried at Falmouth (I Think!)

and,

Elizabeth Jane FOSTER (1890 - 1963)

My aunt used to get Christmas sweets sent to her when she was young from an aunt Lizzie in Canada whom she had never met. It is good to be able to find out who that aunt was!

If you can help with the photos that would be great. If not then no worries

All the best

Patrick

Lenora S. Reynolds
I found a copy of Lenora's death certificate which gives her birth day as November 24, 1856. Is the birth day you gave from her stone? Does a birth record exist for Lenora? I'm researching the family of another descendent of Alexander and Rebecca Bryson/Brison, their son James.

Ref David S McClure
Thanks for the tip on David. Looking at your note on his wife Martha S Brown, 1484478283 a couple questions; 1) were not Martha J 1874 and Andrew grandchildren of Dave/Martha, children of Martha McClure Craig?
2) I wonder if Mary E 1849-???? and Martha Ellen 1852 possible the same person. Mary E is listed in the 1850 age 1, in 1860 as age 8 then not at all in 1870, but Martha appears at age 18, but was not in the previous 1860 or 1850. And then there is a Mary Ann appearing in the 1860 at age 3. That would make 3 children named Mary. Maybe Mary E changed her name to Martha?
Not picking, just wondering.
Thanks

RE: David S McClure # 121248599
That note was taken from a article written by Patrick Pearsey on Gen Forum: 3891 of 5043, dated Feb 14, 2005. Must be some confusion over this, but I well remove the comment. This is part of what Pearsey wrote about David S McClure:
..
Ten brothers and sisters left, but one brother settled in Kentucky and one brother settled in Tennessee.7 Eleanor McClure, aged 60-70, widow, resided Perry County, Illinois, 1840, (page 1). Cathcart / Baskin Genealogy Home Pagehttp://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~cathcart/

He was listed in the 1830 census of Perry County, the only McClure then living there. Buried in Cutler Cemetery, Perry Co. IL.

RE: Thank You!
Sorry. Sarah and Elmer Udell. They are buried in the same family cemetery plot as the two Hyde burials. The backside of the large "Hyde" stone carries the name Udell. The two burials are Sarah and Elmer Udell. I would assume that they are related to the Hydes, and perhaps are your own relatives.

RE: Thank You!
Feel free to use the photos as needed. Please acknowledge the source. In the same cemetery there are two other graves you may want to note. The other side of the large "Hyde" stone reads the surname "aurally." I created memorials for the two Udall burials and attached photos of the headstones. I assume they were related, at least by marriage. Perhaps they are also your relatives. If so, let me know if you would like to manage those two memorials.

John Kizziar #147898256
Thank you for the suggestion, but I've just entered quite a few Kizziar's in this cemetery, wish there was a way I could locate a cemetery index or a way to email them a list to obtain burial plots. I know there are some Kizziar's in Greenlawn also. Right now I'm not really worried, I'm just trying locate & verify information on each one of them. I may try emailing the cemetery to see if they could verify and supply the burial plots. Have a great week - Sue Armstrong

Hi,
I'm not related to the Forrests If you want any of there memorials from Meander transferred to you just let me know. I was photographing the Crowells but figured since the cemetery was so small might as well photograph it all.

Re: Mary Morgan (61333642 )
Hi Barbara - the date on her headstone is what I got from the Oregon Death Index as well:

Name: Mary Morgan
Death Date: 2 Nov 1915
Death Place: Douglas
Certificate: 5711

Are you sure the Mary Morgan who died 1914 in Marion County is the same Mary Morgan? :)Jessica

Dave Robison
Sarah Dewey Memorial# 37524641
Hi Barbara,

Nice to "meet" you! I received your request regarding "Sarah, wife of Lieut Moses Dewey". If these folks are related to you, I'd be happy to transfer management. I recorded many of the burials at the Mechanic Street Cemetery a/k/a "Old Burial Ground" based on an inventory that I referenced in the memorial. I'd be happy to link this Sarah to her parents, but I'm not sure what her maiden name was and can't find any records to indicate such. As a result, I have no supporting data of her parents. If you have the documentation to support her name and parents, I'd rather transfer the memorial to you and allow you the opportunity to make the links.

I hope you understand!

Thanks,

Hi Barbara
I noticed that you have Benoni Sweet born 1774 listed as Sarah's father. Sarah was born 1n 1772. This is her brother and his wife. Sarah's father was also Benoni but I believe born in 1748 and her mother was Lydia Dimock.
