Thanks for update. Glad to see someone else working in that cemetery too. I've gone a couple of times while on vacation.

I am not related and am happy to transfer any others you might wish. As far as Mamie as a wife, that info had to have come from another Find A Grave member.

|Shea Pratt||RE: Rador Legg|
You are very welcome! Though I must say, my husband isn't as happy to go to cemeteries as I am. Exeter is just off of Highway 198 to the east of where I live in Visalia about 10 miles. It was a nice outing for me and a beautiful cool morning to go hunting for the headstone. BTW--If you are ever able to make it out this way, 198 is the gateway to the Sequoia National Park where the redwoods are located. Exeter is a small town with a quaint main street with painted murals of the orange groves and farming community. The cemetery is on your way in to town, just on the outskirts.

Thank you so much for the transfer of little Roy Panhorst. We have linked him to his parents so that while he is not buried with them, they are now "connected". Thank you too for all of the work you have done for this great project. Sincerely, Bonita and Marc

|Lois G.||RE: Kolkmeiers in St. Charles, MO|
Have been on familysearch.org, ancestry.com. and MyHeritage. Had a German researcher looking for JHW -- I was trying one more time! Thanks.
Added by Lois G. on Feb 28, 2013 7:40 AM
I cannot find my great-grandfather's siblings so am hoping your Kolkmeiers fit the bill. John Heinrich Wilhelm Kolkmeier was born in Hannover in the year 1833. That is all I have for him. Although I have checked with a Roberta Bear who seems to be a Kolkmeier descendant of those who moved to MO. She has said there is no connection. JHW, as he was known, immigrated to Cincinatti and married Eliza Thomasmeyer in 1859. They moved to Dieterich, IL (Effingham Co)and resided there until their deaths. Please email me at email@example.com.

You made my day! Thank you for your kind words. I was glad to be able to help. And, it's a good thing you made the request when you did as it's snowing now, and that particular cemetery is up on top of a small hill.

They were burried there, and are still there. You can ask for a photo request to verify.

I added a bunch of names from a book at the genealogy library that was compiled of cemeteries in that area. Just entered what the book had printed. Feel free to send me any corrections that need to be done and I will change them.

Thank you, thank you for the photo of Catherine Kronsbein Schiermeier gravestone! Because of your photo, we now know that her husband was also buried in the same cemetery…sharing the same stone. Your photos of the old gravestones in this cemetery are extraordinary. Please keep up the good work!

Thank you for looking. Someone else found her on the same headstone as her husband, Marion, and daughter, Joan, at the Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery. Thanks again. - Mike Warren

|Jane Denny||RE: Schiermeier memorials, cont'd|
Please know that your note re Schiermeiers memorials has not gone unnoticed and I apologize for my tardy reply! You are correct on the confusion and I appreciate you calling to my attention. It was only yesterday that I returned to view the memorials you target and was totally confused. I then spent the rest of the day getting more confused and yet perhaps making some progress.
I love a good family puzzle and I suggest we have this with the Schiermeiers. I suspect several S. families were there in the 1880s and no wonder our confusion.
Soon and thank you,

Here you are, again, Krystle, the Findagrave volunteer photographer of the beautiful Knippenberg gravestones! I thank you for searching Friedens for the Lehker stone. With the info you provided, I deleted the photo request and moved the memorial to burial unknown. I truly appreciate your time and effort searching for a stone probably lost to time.

I would be happy to email you or mail you copies of the pages in this book..There are 8 pages dedicated to this family. I can work on it but not get it all hooked together today...Carolyn

I went ahead and transferred you all Femme Osage memorials who aren't of a family I am researching. You are doing excellent work in creating and editing memorials in this cemetery and I feel that you will do a better job with them than I am able to do at this time.
Thank you for what you do,

Sorry for the delay in me editing those memorials. I have made the edits you requested. I have deleted my incorrect memorials where requested as well. Let me know if I missed anything.
