RE: Sol
Hi Elizabeth,

I wondered if you would like for me to transfer Sol to you. I'm not related to the family.

I looked at the cemetery survey and they have him listed as Sol I. Green (this could be a typo error). Under husband/wife was shown: Mable Green, from relative -not on marker. This may be of some help to you. This was from a cemetery survey of Etowah County cemeteries at the Gadsden Public Library in Gadsden, AL.

Death info., which appears to be that of Sol's, has him as Sol T. Green and has his parents as Denton Green and Mary Lane. They may have made an error in the Mother's name, as that does happen some times.

If you would like for me to transfer him to you, please just leave me a message on my profile page and when I see it, I'll transfer him to you.

Until Later....God Bless,
Judith

RE: Ebener Case
Elizabeth, you are so very welcome. Ebenezer's monument is on the far east side of the cemetery.
A sunny morning would have been better but with
photo enhancement, at least you can read what is
there. Thank you for your kind words! - Paul

You're welcome. I have taken photos of the entire cemetery that I will be posting in the next few days. If there are any that you would like to have, just let me know and I will transfer them to you. Frances

RE: Donnell
Elizabeth, my maiden name is Donnell. I am the youngest daughter and child of Tony and Maxine Donnell. Who is your mother? Are you on the Old Settlers Reunion mailing list? I am not going to be able to attend this year either, but I will be there next year. The board is planning to take a poll to see if the atendees are responsive to changing the date of the reunion until sometime in October when it is cooler. If you are not on the list, let me know your address, and I will see that you get added.
Margaret

RE: Donnell
You are quite welcome, Elizabeth. I took pictures last year in June, and I am just now getting around to finishing adding them to Find A Grave. I need to recheck to make certain I photographed all of the graves. Do you ever come to Eliasville? We have an Old Settlers Reunion the first Saturday in June (starts and 10:00 am). You can email me at Glambkin@satx.rr.com if you like. Claud Akers gave me a piece of Juicy Fruit chewing gum every time I saw him "downtown". :)

BTW - if you would like for me to turn over the upkeep (or whatever they call it) for the Akers graves, let me know. I don't mind. That way you can add biographical info, etc. Just let me know if you do.
