Updates for George Barrick

I found George's headstone today, and consequently have a few updates for him:
His full name was "Geroge Edward Barrick"
He was born 12 Dec 1846
And his wife (I assume) was Elizabeth Barrick.
Memorial #53368227

I'm sure his family would appreciate the updates :)

RE: Transfer Memorials
I'll be happy to make the transfers. Just as an FYI, when requesting transfers it's best to do it by clicking on the EDIT tab on the memorial. That way I have a link to the memorial and I have your member number.

I noticed that Mary Pierce 53463479 and William's father James Taylor 53463474 are one number off. You can fix the problem from William's memorial.

Hi Dorothy, thanks for the transfer of William Trent Neel and his wife Elizabeth Taylor Johnson Neel. That has completed a two year search for this family and I've connected them to their parents. I'm just sorry that this couple did not have any children. William Trent Neel started interviewing his family and his wife's family back in the mid 1930's and wrote a book on his ancestors but it was unfortunate that he did not know that his second great grandfather Thomas Neel was born in Martic Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, if he had known he could had completed his research on our family.

Again thanks for the transfer and I will look after them as well as you did.

Sorry for the empty message - clicked too soon!

I added photos to Henry's memorial, however it appears that his daughter's grave is unmarked. According to the records, her grave is to the left of her father's. Henry's wife's grave is to the right of his. There was not already a memorial for her, so I created one. Funny, but I thought there would already be one since you knew who she is, etc. I searched the site and didn't find one before I created one for her and I'm transferring her to your care.

Best regards,

RE: Ramona Spies
Hi again, Dorothy! No, I am not related; wish I was so I could claim you as a cousin . . . Oh well! I'm looking for living relatives all the time, because my parents were not big on staying in contact with cousins. Anyway, I will transfer the one I have management over (Ramona the younger) but will you please allow me the honor of taking the grave photos for her and her father? If so, I will do this without the need of a public photo request. There are too many volunteers that are very quick to claim, and I might not get it in time. I'm going to be out there this weekend so I'd love to do this for you.

Take care,

Ramona Spies
Dorothy, I just looked at the census records myself, and it looks like Henry and Ramona had a daughter also named Ramona, whose estimated birth year was 1909. That must be the Ramona Spies that is here on this site.

Could we possibly have two people with the same name? The cemetery's burial records and the California Death Index both have this Ramona's birthdate as 7/8/1908, died at age 74.

I noticed that you left your name on his memorial. Are you related and if so, would you like me to transfer his memorial to your care?

Memorial Duplication
Hello again Dorothy:

I believe that two of your memorials are for the same person buried in the same plot #217

Caroline F. Milton (#43638749) and Milton O'Neill (#43638777)

I recommend that you consolidate the above two memorials into one memorial with the name:
Caroline F. (Milton) O'Neill

Caroline was Maurice's only wife.
I've done alot of research on this family.

Just tell me the new number and I'll get it fixed.

Good Evening, Dorothy

Thank you for responding so quickly. I grew up UMC in Virginia and worked for the Board of Global Ministries in NY City in the 1980s as the Records Manager. The Radnor graveyard was a lovely place to visit this week (I'd never been there before). Wonderful history!

I appreciate and applaud your efforts!

Warm Regards,

Isaac Sutton's middle name?
Good Evening,

A friend and I took photos at this cemetery today, and it looks like his middle initial is "C." on the gravestone. Was there another Isaac Sutton at this cemetery? If not, please correct this when you have a chance.

And what are the odds that two women would be entering the same stranger's info on Find a Grave on the same day? We only took a few photos, and this one was interesting because of the woman on the same stone, who does not seem to be his wife or a family relative - but you never know.

Warm Wishes and thank you,

Close Friend

If you can take care of this whole cemetery, I'd be happy to transfer ALL of the entries I made from the WPA listing. I'm sure the Find A Grave file manager can do that globally. Let me know.
