Eagles Nest
Donna Mae Hoos Adams
Hi Kathy,

I have received notice that I should delete my entry of Donna Adams memorial, because I did not have her in a cemetery at the time and another person added her in after me. Should I delete her?

If not would you mind adding the grave stone picture you have on her memorial # 120745294 to my memorial # 107366882.

Thanks, for your help,

Thank you
Bless you for what you are doing with the abandoned cemetery. We need you in Missouri. It is so rewarding to find a fallen marker that has been covered over for decades, and bring it back -- they are often the best preserved marker/s in the cemetery.

Repairing tombstones
Will there be another workshop on how to fix old broken tombstones? We are working on a cemetery where my husband's relatives are 30 miles south of Springfield, IL. There are stones, which need to be repaired. Thank you for any suggestions you can give to us. Thank you for all you do for the Pike County cemeteries.

Cemetery preservation
Thank you so very much for your efforts towards maintaining the cemetery you speak of in your bio. As a descendant of a large portion of family whom are buried in a cemetery that was highly neglected to the point of memorial stones being sent to the dump and being trampled by cows, I appreciate your efforts. The cemetery I speak of is in North Carolina and sadly we can't turn back the clock and place someone there that cared, like you do. Your time spent there doing that is a blessing to many future generations. I applaud you and your family for going that extra mile <3

Rachael C. Crawford Perry Cemetery Pike Co IL
Would you mind taking a second close look at the date of death on Rachael's headstone? After much mulling on my part and checking censi, every single one of which indicates she was born in 1818, I had not been able to reconcile her age on the headstone as 77 yrs... UNTIL I just this minute realized that her date of death on the headstone is actually 1895 (not 1885), which, at age 77, would indeed make her date of birth 1818. Could you fix that pls. I can send you the censi also, if you would like. Also, can you mention the date of birth as a "calculated" date (unless, of course, you have some supporting document. Thank you very much for your fine work and all of your help, which is truly appreciated.

Dear Kathy, would you mind please double-checking her date of birth based on age at time of death. I got 11 April 1834 (which tallies withher 1850 census). Thanks so much.

Hi Kathy, it's been awhile since I messaged you. I've not been working on findagrave or genealogy for nearly 9 months. I wanted to let you know the stones you've worked so hard on restoring look awesome. Know that I really appreciate you doing this and I know my Momma deeply appreciated all your work.

Kathy, HI, its me Grace again, could you please post the photo you have of Ella Bixby Pickup on the above memorial. It has your name and I'd appreciate having you post on her CORRECTED memorial. I've tried many times to have the person who made her post correct who her biological parents were and now the whole memorial is a total mess. I really do appreciate all the help you have given me in searching for this family line and would love to have you attend this 200th NICHOLS celebration in June. Contact me again via my e-mail: Thanks Grace

Ronald S. Waggoner
memorial #131214318
Kathy, would you please change the name from William John Waggoner to John William Waggoner. He was my grandfather, and went by his middle name. In fact, his nickname was "Willie." However, his legal name was John William. If you would make this change, I would appreciate it. I started to link my father, Walter Everett Waggoner to him, but found his dad only by accident. Thanks for your consideration, Ron Waggoner

Transfer of Jacob & Katherine Baughman
Dear Kathy:

First let me say thank you to you and your father for all your work, it is greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if you would be interested in transferring Jacob Baughman #93349971 and Katherine Baughman #93350041 over to me to maintain, they are my 3rd GG parents on my father side. If not I do have some more info to add to them also. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Robert Nichols Family
Originally From Grace K. Crewe-Austin:
THIS IS A PUBLIC SEARCH - LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON A 200TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION of ROBERT NICHOLS 1773-1834 & ESTHER PIERCE NICHOLS 1776-1856 who were PIONEER Settlers of Niagara County on June 6, 1816 . Their children were: Esther Nichols (Asher) Williams 1797-1880; Gad Pierce Nichols 1799-1865 & Priscilla Nichols (John Milton) Buttery 1813-1888. Except for daughter Esther all are buried in the Oakwood Cemetery on Portage Road, in Niagara Falls NY. On June 6, 1916 a one hundrenth Anniversary Celebration was held with over 134 descendants from far & near at the home of Town of Lewiston Supervisor Andrew J. Nichols, Here is a list of some of the children & baby names that attended this 200th Celebration: Dorothy. Alice & Wilbur Buttery; Doris & Grace Beggs; Alfred & Alice Schultz; Orville, Milton & Gladys Perrigo ; Arthur, Mike, Jack, Cameron & Janice Nichols; Clarence & Myrtle Way; Merton Alfred & Laura Wiepert; Russell & Helen Bradlee; Enid, Marshall, Velda, & Mildred Fellows & Arlene Walker who married a 'Gidlow', Doris Walker Truesdale (mother of David & Alan) & Nina Truesdale (Cameron) Nichols supplied the photos & reunion invitation, plus a list of those who attended the 100th celebration. It was their dream to see the 200th but they have both since past away. WELL over 90% of the population from the Towns of Lewiston & Porter and other parts of Niagara County are connected to this NICHOLS family. PLEASE CONTACT me VIA facebook if you have ANY information on an UPCOMING REUNION for June 2016. PLEASE SHARE to get this message out Thank You....

You placed a headstone on memorial # 137231368.

This photo actually belongs on memorial # 137231386.

It was an easy mistake. Thank you in advance for fixing this.

Have a Merry CHRISTmas.
