Thanks for your message, the memorial I created in Bridge St. Cemetery, Northampton is for a cenotaph which exists in that place. Memorial # 1360 in Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, N.J. is for his actual burial location. Cenotaph's are to memorialized per Find-A-Grave policy. I will note and link the memorial to his memorial in Princeton.

John H Stoy #68064856
Thank you for all the time and energy you put into your work. It is much appreciated. Today I found a third wife for John - John H Stoy #68064856 was married three times. First to Minerva H Weldy on 4 March 1871 in Williams County, Ohio. His next was to Annie E Roberts on 3 April 1904 in Williams County, Ohio. The next was to Emma Stuver King on 11 September 1915 in Huntington County, Indiana. On the last marriage record it shows the names of both sets of parents and includes the fact that the groom had been previously married two times. Both wives had died. The bride, Anna, had been previously married once. Her husband had died.

John Greeson
The Greeson Family Cemetery was moved to Wayne Memorial Gardens Waynesboro some years ago because of the By-Pass construction. You will find John Greeson's photo there and I took pictures of all the Greeson's buried there.
Blessings. Now you can remove your request and still have his photo.

Wyntje De Jongh Roosa
Hi Robert,
I just noticed a photo on the memorial for Wintie (sic) De Jongh Roosa, who is buried at the Old Dutch Church cemetery in Kingston, NY. You labeled it as the Old Dutch Church Cemetery in Hurley, NY, which doesn't exist; it's actually a shot of the Old Hurley Burial Ground in Hurley, NY, and she's unlikely to be there. There's already a nice shot of the cemetery in Kingston on the memorial.
If you were all the way out here in NY to take that photo, I'm sorry you got to Hurley, but not Kingston! I live minutes away from both places.
I just used the edit tab to suggest a correction of her first name to Wyntje.
Thanks for all you do!
Many blessings,

Henry P. Duncan # 6159398

In reviewing your suggestions and my records and citations, I have found that:

Your citation (Hancock County, Indiana; Index to Marriage Records 1828-1920 Inclusive Volu, W. P. A. Original Record Located County Clerk's Of; Book: C--5; Page: 309) is for Sarah Gambrel's marriage on 05 Aug 1869 to Mr. Fry, not her m. to Henry P. Duncan.

Henry Duncan's 1st wife was Margaret J. Smith, who he m. 19 April 1870. (Hancock County Indiana; Index to Marriage Record 1828-1920 Inclusive Volum, W. P. A. Original Record Located County Clerk's Of; Book: C- 5; Page: 373.)

Henry P. Duncan's second wife was Mary E. Davis (Shelby County, Indiana; Index to Marriage Record 1856-1920 Inclusive Volum, W. P. A. Original Record Located: County Clerk's O; Book: 11; Page: 186.) on 27 Aug 1878. (Mary Davis = my gr. grandfather's sister)

THEN, Henry m. his third wife, Sarah Gambrel Fry, as you cited. I didn't show him with a third wife so this threw me a little. I've now added her.

I don't know where Sarah is buried, sorry.

I am very sorry about that. after I posted the photo I realized it was not the correct photo so I had to delete it. I do not have the correct one.
Most of the headstones in this cemetery are very weather-worn and very difficult to figure out.

it is a little confusing, there are 3 cemeteries named West Lawn, Winesburg, Mt. Eaton, and Baltic.

Ben is at Mt. Eaton.

Robert, I wish we had been at the House Cemetery later in the day, as taking the photos directly into the sun was frustrating. The Egbert stone has broken, and the inscribed area has sunk into the earth. Thanks to my husband, land surveyor, cemetery finder, digger and lifter for the shot showing the entire stone.

FYI: The cemetery looks nothing like the cemetery photo provided. There are two House cemeteries in Perry County. I believe the photo of the actual old house you see in the photo is from the other older cemetery. This one is a small but beautiful cemetery, very open and well cared for.

Robert...have you ever run across this lady? Coming from Sherburne, it is the right Lowe family and the name Elcy is so unusual I am wondering if it is just a coincidence with TW Lowe's wife? Birthdate rules out a daughter.

Tunis Lowe

I have a birth date of 11 October 1791 which agrees with the headstone which says he was 52 years of age when he died in 1843.

I was finally able to check all the names you gave me against in The Oklahoman archives. I am sorry, but I wasn't able to find anyone. Good luck locating your family.

I am not related to your family. When I have time, I try to post obituaries to help others in their search. If you have other relatives who have died in the area, I am happy to do look ups in The Oklahoman.

Happy Hunting,

Ernest Hynson, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, OK
Most of the time, it's just a matter of get the name, get the location, take the photograph. I must say this one presented a challenge. The cemetery office didn't have an Ernest Henson listed. Then I asked for Hanson, Hinson, and Honson. No one named Ernest was listed with those surnames. Goodness, I didn't think to ask for Hynson.

I decided to check the original cemetery survey at A lady named Aggie Cochrane walked the cemetery in about 2001 and recorded the headstones. I did an "Edit" search for anyone named Ernest in the Ha-He section. No Ernest Henson. Then I did the search in the Hi-I section and hit Ernest Hynson. This was at

I called the cemetery office again, and sure enough, was given the location of Ernest Hynson's headstone. I also found Ernest's surname as Hynson in the SSDI. I suppose all's well that ends well. It was good to finally find his headstone.
