|Anonymous||Cora MJ Foster # 110179016|
Thank you again for all the fabulous pictures you have posted.
I wrote you last week via email
I am guessing that this is the daughter of Ginevra Ellison Foster (Daughter of Ellison Plunkett -1805-1867- one of the few of his children not buried here) and John William Foster.
JW and Ginevra Foster had a daughter - Cora Martha Jane- with the same birth and death dates as the child is this grave. My family records show that Cora was buried at Pleasant Grove.
From what I can see in the picture it looks as if "C N" listed in the details could be "G J"

Thank you so much for the photo of Norma Foster's headstone. She was my late father's sister and he rarely spoke of her. I wasn't even sure she had a headstone. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the information, and I do think this is a dupe, but have written to the genealogy library to confirm it. I have a problem with her father Joseph. The dates for the Joe in the cemetery are not the same you gave me. Is this the father, or is he elsewhere? Thanks again.

Thank you for the photo of my Grandmother's grave marker. I was not notified of her death and did not get a chance to attend her funeral or say good bye. She was a remarkable women one of a kind. She deserves to be remembered. Thank you so much, Karen

Nice to hear from you again.
Your pictures looked good and I added the photo to Jane Plunkett's memorial.
One last detail on Pleasant Grove Cemetery graves. I've been trying to get all the Plunketts linked and have been puzzling over memorial # 110186789 for F.E. Plunkett. I've studied that branch of Plunketts for anyone that would match, with no luck. (I even got the book "10,000 Plunketts" for Christmas.) The only F.E. Plunkett in that family branch is buried in Oklahoma. From studying the photo you posted, I now believe the name is F.M. Plunkett standing for Francis Marion Plunkett. Francis Marion has a newer headstone that he shares with his wife in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. After looking at the dates on the photo posted for F.E. Plunkett, I think the dates posted on #110189789 were misread a little. (For example, I think the birth date is Jun 12 not Oct 12 ... and the years are difficult to read.)
I'll be visiting the cemetery in April and will try to get a better read on the headstone and see if the F.E. Plunkett headstone is near the Francis Marion double headstone, but if you're there before April you might want to check it out for us.
Keep in touch.

Thank you so much Linda.
You are a very good photographer. I've seen others you have done and the inscriptions are real legible.
(I've just started my ancestry search.)
Thank you and contact me anytime and I will do my best to help you (or others).

Thank you for all the work you do in making this such a wonderful website.
Eunice Daniels is a relative and there is a picture of a tombstone but it isn't hers. I will try to get a picture of Eunice's stone soon.
Thank you again for everything. This is such a great place to remember and get acquainted with family we never got to meet.

I understand...i do the same thing because some people are just not as open as others.
I'd rather share what i have ...maybe then everyone will share what they have. Being all private about photos of people who are gone I feel is a direct insult to them.

|Jan Fenter||Greenwood Memorial Cemetery: Ratterree|
I noticed you have done gravestone photos for Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, in Sebastian County, Arkansas. I've found a memorial set up for Jesse G. Ratterree, Find A Grave Memorial# 63798188, and the photo looks like there is possibly another part of the marker, not shown, which might be for his wife, Jannie Ratterree. I looked for a memorial for her, but it isn't there.
Could you tell me how I can contact the sexton at the cemetery to find out if Jannie is also buried there. Or is this the type of cemetery that doesn't have a sexton on site, and it is managed by the city or some corporation?
Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the information(obituary) on Jim Snelling. If you are related to Jim and would like to maintain his memorial, I would be more than happy to transfer this memorial to you. I know quite a few of the people mentioned in the obituary but I am not related to him. Just request it thru the edit tab and it will be sent to you.

I'll let June know. Sorry you had trouble getting into Ancestry. She just got the keys to start moving stuff in her new place. She so busy that I haven't even talked to her. She does call my sister Brenda because we all worry about her and her health.
