RE: Mary N Johnson
Hi Mary,
I haven't had any luck finding anything past the fact in the 1900 census she was a widow with the married name of Mary N.(probably Nevada?)Johnson and had a baby daughter Eva Nevada Johnson. By 1902 she was married to my Gr. grandfather Amos Heigh(who was her hired man in the 1900 census(o:) as my grandmother, Stella was born in 1902. Stella had told my mother that Mary had come from New York but with the last name Johnson and no idea of her maiden name I ran in to a dead end there. Mary died when Stella was only 8 and Amos died in the Spanish flu epidemic when she was 16. Eva was married that year to a Joseph Russell and Stella and her younger siblings, Mildred and Charlie were farmed out to local families in the Nile valley. I would appreciate any information you may have. My grandmother Stella was very secretive about anything unpleasant and I have found that she didn't always tell the truth about some things. I found out from the Russell family that her half sister Eva had committed suicide by shooting herself. That wasn't the same story that grandma told(o:
Thanks for writing
Corine

John Collins # 51444122
I am tracing a Collins line.. and was wondering if you know anything about Jesse Collins , that you have married to Nancy Whetsel..
I am wondering who Jesse's father is... and where he might have been born.

I have two Jesse Collins , I have the parents of both, but nothing else. no date of birth..marriage, nothing else..
Would love to find out if this Collins leads into the line I am tracing.

Jessie Patton Dickerson
I noticed that you left a message stating her father as David Patton. I am trying to track my husband's family and Jessie is his Great-grandmother, his grandfather is Arnold Dickerson. Do you know David's parents names? Do you know when David died? If you have this information on any other you can email me at jc210995@yahoo.com.

You put flowers on this memorial and noted that she had three marriages. I'm trying to track her marriages. I'd appreciate it if you could send me a note (see my profile) with information you might have on marriages.

Thanks very much.

John

RE: Hiram Whitsel
Thanks Susie....you mentioned in your offering though that his death date was 1934 but the stone says 1932.
I know Shelley (the contributor) has the death date was way off and probably was a typo, but do you know for sure when his death date is? Is the stone correct?
I am assuming Shelly needs to use the stone dates. Am I correct?? Are you going to contact Shelly or do you want me to.
Have a good evening!
Sharon

Hiram Whitsel
Hello Susie,
I recently came across a conflicting death date for Hiram Whitsel # 31492563 that I thought you may want to verify. I recently took a photograph of Hiram's stone and posted it on his memorial. This is how I found the conflict. You had posted some biographical info on Hiram in the flower section which stated that he died in 1934 but his stone says 1932. I am not saying the stone is right because we all know that sometimes stones are inaccurate but I just wanted you to see it.
Additionally, biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower. Contacting the original contributor to add biographical information is proper and therefore it gets entered in the bio section of the memorial and not as easily missed.
Thanks Susie and have a great day!
Sharon

RE: Traylor info
Your welcome. This information and a lot more was given to me by my great aunt Lucy Ellen Dawson. I feel an obligation to pass it on to others.

I have much more posted on my ancestry.com tree. I just sent you an invite for this tree which will allow you to see the pictures, documents, etc. that my Aunt Lucy gave me. Sometimes the invite does get to the person I am sending it to. Let me know if you don't get and invite.

Let me know if I can be of any other help to you.

Sincerely Rich Garrett

RE: Rohn Cemetery
I got the list of interments from a book at the library. The cemetery was visited and read by members of the genealogical society around 25 or 30 years ago. I have wanted to visit the cemetery but have not gotten around to get permission to cross the private land that surrounds the cemetery.

RE: Lynch pictures.
Hey Susie,

I will have to look. I took photos in the same area in the cemetery, so if they are buried s near each other I might have a photo on my camera memory card. Burlingame is actually an hour away from me, but I was down there for a family reunion. If i find more Lynch's, I will let you know. I only took photos in the area near where my grandparents and great grandparents are buried. I know there weren't any Lynch's right by the photos I uploaded, but I have quite a few more to crop and upload.

Sarah Fanning
Hi... I recently visited Martin Cemetery and I believe I found Sarah's stone. It was very hard to read though. I had to feel the letters to make out part of it. What I could feel on it... it read Sarahh (I think there were two h's) Wife of W. P. Fanning Died April 4th and I could not make out the year.
Would you like me to go ahead and upload the picture onto your photo request?

RE: David C Reeder
Hi Susie - thanks again. I checked into that possibility too. The last place I can find David Reeder is in the 1900 census. He was separated from his wife, listed himself as widowed, and gave his occupation as a museum proprietor. I checked and couldn't find any museums in Redkey, IN in 1900. Then he just drops off.
If your Sarah Mc Cain was born in 1839 to James McKean (or McCain) and Eva Harpster, then she and Rose Ann are sisters. :)

Thanks so much, but I have a historical biography of his wife's family that lists him as deceased before 1917. I appreciate all the trouble you went to - thank you.
