David died June 1st, 1913 it is on his Military Records. His mother's maiden name was Reily. It is on David Murphy's Cherokee Application.
David Murphy's military records, he states his father Whiplash, Bell Ratler and Racheal Bell Ratler went on trail of tears. Whiplash is on the Cherokee Roll of 1846 in Oklahoma.
