It is Mary Westgate Butterfield 1839-1870. I will post photos per your request. She is the center stone between John and Emma. Regards, Bob Lerch

Butterfields in Graceland-Edgewood
There is a large Butterfield lot (#115)in the Edgewood Section of Graceland Cemetery Chicago. There are 7 Butterfield markers in the lot including John, Mary, and Emma, but room for many more. I recommend that you contact the cemetery office by email request to to find out all the people buried in this lot. There may be some umarked. Regards, Bob Lerch

J. Stephen Becker
August Ewald Becker

Thanks so much for the geneological work you've done. John and Emilie Becker were my paternal great grandparents. George Stephen Christian Becker was my grandfather. August Becker was my great uncle. When I was a boy I met his daughter, Leona Becker.

I live in the Cincinnati area but I'll be up in Barron County from June 14-22. If I can add to the details you've already uncovered about my family I'll let you know.

J. Stephen ("Steve") Becker

Anne Tobisch
Hello Sue. First, I'd like to thank you for all the work you have done. Frank Harold Tobisch was my grandfather and Lucille C. Ahl Tobisch Carlson was my grandma. My father, David Jon Tobisch was my father. He was Lucille and Frank Harold's youngest son. I am planning to put up some of the information I have soon.

I live in St. Paul and have been working on my family history since college (since the late 1990's).

Edward Oliver and Family.....

Hello Sue,

Thank you very much for your help with the duplicate memorials for Edward Oliver.

It was great to learn where he was buried, thanks to your memorial. Your kindness in adding the grave photo you took to my memorial and deleting yours is greatly appreciated. The links to his parents have been made.

Thank you also for all the contributions you have made to "Find a Grave". I'm sure you have been very helpful to other family searchers.

Best wishes,

Thank you for your quick response! After some additional research, I did find a two-page MAGNY family bio-sketch that might be of interest to you. Among the information is a reference regarding his son, Fred, who wrote a biography about his father (Jonas). The Magny family had ties to the origin of Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota.

You submitted an update for Hilda C Magny in the Chisago Lake Cemetery:

Can you tell me about your source for this maiden name? I am unable to find any information in our research library.

RE: Burditt Family in Eau Claire
Thank you for the added info. I had seen that Mary Jane - but was hesitant assume that it was our Mary Jane Burditt. However, after reviewing I haven't been able to disprove that it is not her and everything else sure points it being her. The date of death matches up to the write-up in the paper. Also, I found that her son, Allen, was living in Latah Co.,Idaho (just over the Washington State border), and as you mentioned Allen too died in Washington State (on the coast). Also, what adds up is her July birthdate matches the 1900 census. The only thing not right it the father's name and her aged (5-8yrs off). I changed her madian name back to POND and made a note about it being O'Brian or Joyce. POND was her name when she got married, having been raised by Levi Pond. Thank you again!

Burditt Family in Eau Claire
Sue, Thank you so much for the quick reply, checking on the Burditt markers, and adding the obituary notices!!! The 5 Burditt's in the lot matches with family history (Allen and Mary and the 3 children that died in childhood). There son Allen John Burditt must be buried in Washington State, where he died... Thank you again for your time.

transfer and question
Would you consider transferring management of Clara Jane Huston (127330417) to me. She was my great grandmother. My second question is I contacted Greendale Cemetery a few years ago to get a location on Clara's husband George L. and I was told that he was in a section of the cemetery that he had no markers and they couldn't tell me where he was buried. Since you found Clara do you know if George L. has a marker. I would appreciate any information you could give me. Thank you.
