Brant Nine
Just wanted you to know there was an unknown burial for Brant Nine #19851499. I see you've uploaded photos to another and wanted you to get the credit if they delete the duplicate once Bonnie updates her unknown memorial to the appropriate cemetery.

Your photo is on Memorial #100505564

RE: Benjamin H. Cravens
So glad you found the Benjamin Cravens family! The "cemetery" is actually on the left shoulder of 2301 Rd. After you turn onto 2301, it's only a few yards up on the left, you can't miss it. 2301 runs off of county road 1300, Stockton, Cedar Co. Missouri. 2301 turns off 1300 Rd. a few blocks past the new Rosebriar Cemetery. Sorry, no GPS.

You're welcome! Someone else requested a photo of "Phebe Genung" but I haven't been able to locate it, unfortunately.

RE: Philbert & Angeline Best
You're Welcome.....I just barely got to the cemetery. I had a time finding it even tho I had the county map.....It is on an old dirt twp. road that looks like no one should even be on it. But, once I got there, it was nice right @ that spot & the view below was beautiful. There is even a home next to it.....typical of the places they built the old country churches.

Yes, we spent yesterday afternoon at the Caesar Creek Friends Cemetery. I actually took a picture of the WRONG Ruth Mendenhall, and when I realized the error, I removed it. Many of the stones in that cemetery are damaged and illegible. We actually list quite close to the cemetery so will probably return sometime soon. Sorry. :(

Marriage to Sarah A. Ross in Jeffersonville 2-28-1983; also 1900 Census has them living in Jeff and married 7 yrs.; both were quite old. Hope this helps.

RE: George A Shuster
If you check the caption on the paper, you will see it came from the Rensselaer Republican 3 Dec 1937, Fri. Therefore, if he died on Sat, it must have been 27 Nov 1937. I just happened across it when looking for another obit.

In lot 28 is Benjamin Hite DOD 1851, age 23, Louisa 1849-1853, Alice DOD 1873 age 28, Kezia 1801-1876, Francis A. 1790-1877, Charles Hite Smith 1841-1902- He was a Mason. His wife Mary H. VanDusen. All stones are photographed but want to go back with the morning sun and retake. Lighting is so important. The lot is just inside the main gate to the right. You can see the highway in the background. Enjoy!

RE: Jacob Sneary
I just want to thank you and let you know how warmed the hearts of my cousin and me. My cousin has lost her eyesight, but I called her and told her I had seen the photo of the gravesite on findagrave and requested it be transferred. We thank you from the bottoms of our hearts. In our family book this is what it says about Jacob Franklin Sneary's funeral and burial: "....funeral services, which were conducted by Rev. Sanderson at 2:30 pm Sunday afternoon at the old college building in this city, after which the mortal remains of Jacob F. Sneary were laid in the tomb at Rose Hill cemetery, far away by many weary miles from the home of his childhood, and the graves of father and mother..." so, thank you now I will connect him to his father, mother, wife and other family members.
Blessings, jwp, Graveyard Gang
