Victor: Per your request I added photo of LCpl Smith's memorial. As info, I had no problem with original photo displaying on Find A Grave. Thanks for you work with Find A Grave, especially your dedication to fallen veterans.

I posted a new photo for Paul David Myers, 70044869. So...What do you think "NCM" on the stone means.

You are welcome, glad I found it on the first try! I love photographing the military stones! He deserves a building named for him, thanks for the info.

I sent you a correction because you spelled it wrong. It is Parkhurst, not Parkhust.

Please add the section and plot location at Long Island National Cemetery to your photo request. Thanks, Helen.

This would be kind of you. If you do find the obit, if you send a picture of it to me attached to an e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) I can transcribe it and add to bio. I often re-organize it a little, birth-death instead of starting with death.
Thank you in advance, and thank you for working to honor those who gave all. We were at Vicksburg, and the guide said so many of the Civil War soldiers even gave their very identity. We want to remember our heroes.

Thank you so much for your edits for PFC Michael Becker. Do you happen to have an obituary for him, or did this come from military files?
I will be most happy to transcribe an obituary, and thank you for the picture as well.
There are many who served, but this young man gave his all for our nation.

Thanks for the posting on my cousin, PFC Don Hinson! The family had the citation related to his Silver Star, but not the full details that you provide in the Find A Grave Memorial (#137189201). We appreciate the additional information.

Thank you for your service and thank you for the work you do for Find A Grave. My aunt's (by marriage) brother was Lt. Col. Kenneth Ambrose Walsh - a fourth ranking US Marine Corps fighter ace in WWII. If I can help you out with any other photos at St. Charles or LINC Farmingdale, let me know.

Thank you for the excellent memorial on Patrick. We never knew the details of his death. I have made Find A Grave memorials for each of his parents. Could you link him to them?

On Amelia Island, FL there is the Nassau County War Memorial listing all that KIA from WWI to present. I have researched each and seen that a Find A Grave memorial for each. I have a virtual cemetery on my profile page with each memorial. I don't manage all of them. Over the years more and more information has been obtained and added as it has been available online or family members have shared. Have a look when you have the time.
Also visit my Daddy's memorial. Thomas H. Davis

"It may be buried or not installed. His father was supplied with a Flat VA Marker."
Some metal markers have been recently stolen from remote cemeteries and sold for their value as metal. This may be the case.
I was asking friends in Baker County to check on the situation and reapply to VA if the marker is missing.
I wanted his Find A Grave memorial to state "No marker" so another member wouldn't request a photographer to attempt a marker photo.
Thanks for the information. That could be added to the memorial also.
There is a Vietnam War Memorial downtown St Augustine. One of the young men whose name is on the memorial is buried in rural Putnam Co and his marker is missing too. All the paper work shows that he was buried in that cemetery with a flat metal marker but his grave is not marked either.

As a "recovering" Nam vet... your details helped me immensely & this guy has to salute your efforts. Semper Fi, Marine!

First Thanks for all of your wonderful work on the Oakland County boys who died in Vietnam. I am needing help on Robert Millan, the Coffelt Report states he is buried in Roseland Park, in Berkley, MI. You have him in an Ohio Cemetery. I want to request a photo, but not sure what to do at this point. Let me know what you think.
