Thank you so very much for finding this! It is in such good shape for being well over 100 years old. Quite a find. If you've no objection, I shall add it to my ancestry.com family tree. Forever grateful, Barbara Adams

Thank you!
You recently placed a requested photo on the memorial page of G.W. Love ~ I have just discovered I am late in responding to your kindness for which I apologize. Your "gift of self" in doing so is definitely appreciated!

Thank you so much for the great headstone pics!! They are much appreciated!! Would you mind adding the pic that you used for Charles Everton (84421402) to Saphronia Everton (84422004), his wife who shares the headstone? I just want to make sure you get credit for the pic!! Thanks again!

Photos and info
Wow where did you get those great photos. That photo of Uncle Dink is fantastic.

You show my grandfather as Solomon Preston, I believe that should be Samuel Preston.

I wonder if you have other photos that I might be interested in. Thanks for all you have done.

Davis Jefferies
Hi!

I'm hoping you can solve a mystery for me. In the 1850 census there is a Davis Jefferies age 11 living with my ancester William Goudelock and his older sister Sally Murray nee Goudelock in Union County SC. I am trying to figure out how he would be related to them.
I know two of the daughters of Davis Goudelock, (brother of William) married into the Jefferies family. These were Sarah and Millie. Is this Davis Jefferies one of their sons?
Can you fill me in on the descendants of Millie and Sarah Goudelock? All I have is those children of theirs buried in the Goudelock cemetery outside Gaffney SC.

Please email me directly with your response.

Thanks for your help!

RE: John and Sarah Jefferies
Terry -
You are very welcome. I am doing research on the Goudelock's, my mother's family, hoping to track down all the descendants of Adam Goudelock who was the grandfather of Sarah Goudelock Jefferies, and had just visited this cemetery last month and taken the pictures. Perhaps we can help each other. I would be thrilled to have any information on Sarah & John's descendants you are willing to share.

- Carol

RE: Kittie
Mr. Gibbs,

I finding my Shugarts scattered just about, what seems, all over Texas. My mother is Lona Belle Shugart-English-Daniels. Her father is Amasa White Shugart, who is the son of John Ulyssis Shugart and Sarah N. 'Kitty' Tanner-Shugart. Lona's mother, my grandmother is, Emma Anise Woodall-Shugart. We have not just a few Shugarts and Woodalls buried there, but many. If the Mary Magdalene you have is the same Mary M. who was born in 1849 at Yadkinville, Yadkin, NC,
she would be my 3rd great grand aunt. As of yet, I have not found Evelyn Belle, but my mother's middle name is Belle and I wonder if the name 'Belle' was popular among the Shugarts back then.

Mr. Gibbs,

Thank you so much for taking the time to travel from Stephenville to Simpson Cemetery for the photo request. I understand that it is quite a drive as I am well aware of where Stephenville is and where Kokomo is. I'm in California now so I doubt that I will ever get to that area again so I'm putting my family together as a memorial to my genealogy.

Thanks a bunch!!
