Your Profile Page
I need to put some rules, regulations or policies on my profile page like you. Recently, I have transferred 3 or 4 memorial pages that I wish I hadn't as the requesters have been members for Find a Grave for 5+ years and haven't taken any photos, boast of multiple thousand people in their family tree, have 15+ photo requests. To me they want others to do the work and they will reap the benefits. Thoughts? Anyhow. . .

Happy New Year!

LaBanco family
Dear Bob and Sue,
Thank you for the LaBanco transfers. Upon my mother's passing, I've had great desire to be closer to her family. My mom was the youngest of the14. Their were several who died before my mom's birth. You've seemed to have photographed many graves in Holy Sepluchre in Cook county Illinois. If this place is near you, I was wondering if you were still photographing more? If so, would you keep an eye out for other LaBanco children? I live in California. I had a list somewhere made by my mom of the young ones who died, and it has been lost, so I cannot give you first names. Only one child of Joseph and Isabelle still lives and she too was unborn before the others had died. Thank you so much for your hard work. Someday it is a dream of mine to visit the cemetery. Thank you for bringing it to me. What a blessing you are.

Harold B Brasfield, Sr
Hi Sue and Bob,

I noticed you have the incorrect grave picture on the above subject's memorial located Evergreen Memorial Park Tuscan, AZ. Easy mistake as the grave picture is for his son, Harold B Brasfield. Harold, Sr's grave picture is with his daughter, Bertie Allen 1926-1926 as they share the same grave stone in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. I am sure you would want to make the correction.

Thanks so much,
Barbara Parker

Ladybelle Fiske
Cousin of May Venable Jones Caldwell

What is meant by a "Transfer"???

Added by Ladybelle Fiske on Oct 11, 2014 7:47 PM

Ladybelle Fiske
Hi Bob and Sue,
My mother was almost entirely raised by my great-aunt, May Caldwell, as her sister, my mother's mother, Belle Daniel Jones Hall, had to work as a clerk of the court and was also suffering from deep grief as her husband of about a year and a half died of Spanish influenza when my mother was six months old. The ladies lived together and Archibald and Isabella, May's children, helped to entertain "Babs" (Isabella Daniel Hall, my mother).

She grew up to be a Golden Age cartoonist during WWII and a painter in tempera and pastel. She and my father founded Quarry Hill, Vermont's oldest alternative community.
I would have liked to meet Polly (May). She sounded like a strong lady. I did get to know her daughter Isabelle and granddaughter Ann.
I don't understand all the rules about cousins and so on but I hope you don't mind my leaving this message. Are we relatives? I'd love to communicate! -- Isabella Fiske McFarlin, PO Box 379, Rochester, VT 05767

Clarence Haas
I just found additional information that may prove helpful on the ID of Clarence Haas. His mother, Esther J. (SMITH) Haas, is buried in the Cemetery in Monroeville, Ohio. Esther died on 03 December 1875. Casper Joseph Haas married Lorinda J. Smith in 1877 and as I told you in the previous message, they lived in Monroeville in 1880. I am almost positive that this is the same Clarence Haas. Shirley

Clarence Haas
I am trying to find out if the memorial you have on Find a Grave is the same Clarence Haas I am looking for. The person I am looking for is the son of Casper Joseph Haas & Esther/Edith Smith from Huron County, Ohio. Casper Joseph Haas had 2 wives, Esther/Edith Smith & Lorinda J. Smith. Casper had 5 known children with each wife. They did live in Monroeville, Ohio according to 1880 census records when Clarence was 13. But, Casper Haas was living in the city of Norwalk in the 1870 census when Clarence was 3. Any help would be appreciated. Shirley
