I'm not sure if your the person who took over their Find A Grave pages, but was wondering if you were related to them somehow? I'm Betty's g-niece, Shelly and was wondering if you weren't related, if you could please transfer their pages to me? Wallace C Pletzke's Find A Grave Memorial# 111996638 and Betty Catherine Pletzke Memorial# 72928147. Thanks so much! :)

RE: James Reynolds

Lakeview is about 50 miles but I do get up there fairly often as my daughter lives in a nearby town. I have some pictures I need to take up there so if no one does it before I go, I can do it for you the next time I'm there.

RE: James Reynolds 1916

Could you tell me which cemetery James Reynolds is in as I don't have that information.

RE: Frank Carrier
I looked at the picture on your web site. I can see there is a question on the date. However, as I said, my original copy of the stone is quite clear as to the date. Do whatever you think is necessary. Betty

Thanks for contacting me. Altho it has been 27 years since I crawled through brush to find these old stones in their original burial location, I do remember the Carrier stone as it was in good condition then. I have looked at my original picture of the stone and it is clear: Frank Carrier died Sept.16 1897 aged 59 yrs. Betty

RE: stones
The parents are by the entrance, with my husbands little brothers. When we lived there I did photograph them. Funny you mention the old cemetery as me and my children found it by chance. We were driving down the road and noticed a headstone. We stopped to check it out and found it had rolled down the hill. We spent a lot of time there.

It was a large family with so many different spellings. Jane

Once again I thank you. I know how tedious it can sometimes get. I have photographed almost all of my local cemetery. My husband is from Marquette but we live in California so not much of a chance to photograph. Jane

RE: Roy Revord
I notice it says he is also in Block 10 lot 97 I wonder if he is on the back of that headstone? Or in the empty space next to those two. It is strange if he has no headstone as all the family so far have large headstones. He was hit by a train in Ohio when he was 16 and sent back to Marquette for burial. I sure so appreciate all your help. Jane

I appreciate that. The strange thing about my husband's family is some spell it Revord some Rivard and yet others Rivord. It could be under any spelling. I know he died in 1945, and the cemetery confirmed he was there. Jane

Thank you so much for adding the headstone photo to Eldon Rivord's site. Would you allow me to copy it just to put on Eleanore's site or if you still have it could you put it on. Thank you so much. Jane Revord

I really like your photos. Crisp. Clear. Clicking on them allows one to zoom in closer. Thank you for taking them.

RE: Finchley Memorial Gardens - Ethel Siggery
Hi Trace

Many thanks for your help. The two links you gave lead to East Finchley cemetery, once called St Marylebone. This cemetery backs onto the junior school I attended between the age of 5 and 11.

However, if you use Cemetery lookup and enter Islington you can find the Islington and St Pancras cemetery at the address you gave - High Road, East Finchley.

Finchley Memorial Gardens is given as a separate cemetery on Find A Grave, but I'm now guessing that it may be part of a bigger cemetery - Islington and St Pancras.

As someone who knows the area quite well I had never heard of Finchley Memorial Gardens and wanted to know where it was.

Thanks again.

Finchley Memorial Gardens - Ethel Siggery

In August 2013 you added a memorial for the above saying she was buried at Finchley Memorial Gardens.

As someone who used to live in Finchley and who occasionally returns, I would like to find this cemetery. Are you able to provide me with its exact location.

Many thanks

RE: warner & Brown
Thanks for the map of Park Cemetery. I see hillside at the entrance on the left hand side. May I use that map for the other Browns I have buried there?

Warner-Brown - Marquette, MI
Thank you for all the photos you were kind enough to post on the Warner-Brown family in Park Cemetery in Marquette. They were great photos.

RE: otis Newel
Hey Trace,

I don't really know anything of Otis specifically... and honestly agree that his burial place is likely somewhere else.

All of the information I have is off of his death certificate, in my recollection of the folks from the prison it said something like "State Prison" for the burial location. Can't be for sure though... it has been to long and I don't have a copy of the certificate.

I tried to find something that resembled this location, however, with the Fred Burke memorial already existing I went ahead and leached off of this cemetery for being what they meant.

I see that Fred's burial has a picture of what one could infer is a burial site. Might be worth contacting the individual who posted that pic... they may know something more.

Sorry I can't be of more help. If you find anything out let me know.

Hi Trace - thanks for your message and the info.
Yes, definitely a connection.
If you email me, I will be able to pass on details of everything I know and have, as at this moment, I am not on Ancestry.
Lovely to have found you.

Possible WOOTTEN relative
Hi Trace

would it be possible that your EDWARD WOOTTEN's father was a CHARLES WOOTTEN and EW had brothers HENRY and FRANK and lived in the St Pancras/Marylebone area of London?

If so, we may have a family connection here.
Would'nt it be wonderful if their burials connected their descendents !

regards YJ

Thanks for the photos...they are beautiful, such a pretty spot.
You're right it's quite a big difference from last year....guess the sun shines quite a bit up there...but it makes the scenery all that much more spectacular.
Thanks for taking the time to get these beautiful shots once again.
I truly appreciate it.
