Clementine 'Clemie' Ross
I just saw your note and yes there is a Clementine Ross. She was born Jan 1885 in Wood Co., Texas to Nathaniel Marion and Catherine Graff Ross. Died 31 Dec 1914. Married Thomas Jefferson Holmes 1877-1954, children, Melvin Aaron, 1905-1952, Margaret'Maggie', 1908, Jodie Henry, 1910-1973, Finley, 1911-1945, Ruby Dee, 1913-1993. There is a record of a Clementine Holmes on the 1920 census but its not the correct person.
I found her name a few days ago in researching the Ross line. Clemie was a half sister to the line I was researching, William Clinton Ross. Williams wife, Cleone McRight is related to me, as a distant cousin.
I hope this helps. Of course, my information came from someone elses file so theres a possibility that some information is incorrect

RE: Thomas Hillyer
You either need to change the findagrave burial site for Thomas Hillyer or remove the memorial. The way it is giving incorrect messages to those of us looking at it.

This is not the same as:

Maybe you should just paste the comments I received in the bio for now as it is very bad to assume this is correct, when it may not be.

The reason I asked was the bio said wife Annie (which is correct). I was wondering how you knew that or are you related? I am related on Annie's Groomes/Grooms side of the family.

I have a question on August Kukuk. You say that you have records saying he was born at sea but I think he was born in Michigan, could you let me know your record information and do you have any idea where his wife is burried? thanks

Kristin if you look at the gravesite for pearl mae ross, there is a pic of her and one of her sisters but I am not sure which sister, does she look like your Clementime? Did she marry a Brown?

Anna Louella Stetler
The information I had on her grave was from my Great-Uncle Elmer Stetlers family history that he compiled back in 1968. He got all of his information straight from the family and courthouses. There was no information on her getting married. All we have found is that she might have died young. We know for certain her father is buried there, but we have lost her and her mother Esther. Some of the stones in the old part of the cemetery have slid off of the hill in the back of the cemetery. There is no stone to be found for Simon either. I have been there many times, but can't find any stones. I don't know how to get a hold of the burial records for Montmorenci church cemetery. So all I have is my Uncles word.

RE: Ross Family
Let me get back to you on some of this. I know my Grandfather one of their sons was born in Athens Texas. These are some of the ones I know,
James Nathaniel Ross = grandfather
William Clinton Ross = great Uncle
Doshia Ross = great aunt

Who was Clementine married to? I will see about the research I have.

Kristin,
I have added Nettie L. Alet to both Nettie and Minetta Alet. I believe that they may be the same person. If not, I will remove the photo, just let me know.
