I just noticed your helpful memorials for Robert and Barbara Jones DORRAH (I'd had DARRAH, plus had confusing places for her.)

Do you happen to be family to them, too? I'm tracking her genealogy, on my husband's side (He descends from Barbara's sister Martha.) I'm looking to track down, better, the origins and adoption of their father McMillen/Jones and to locate her grandfather Henry Masters in Greene County, PA. Or, just more detail on the nuclear family's household back in WV.

Adella Bowen Hamer

I researched Adella Bowen Hamer (68670256) and find she was married to a William Hamer, but not the William Hamer (135404964) who was married to my great aunt. Would it be possible to undo the link that says they were married? Thank you

That is a stumper

The first two children were twins.

2 boys Allison (i know it is strange) and Alvin.

I have Alvin dieing in 1878 no middle name he had Typhoid

Allison Franklin Donn I think lived to b e 1926 but i don't have any proof just a lot of possibilities

I have this copy of a newspaper article that someone posted on Ancestry I am not sure which twin it goes to. oops i can't post it here but this is what it says.
Ally Donn
January 7, 1880
Kerwin Chief Newspaper
Allison Donn, was seriously injured last Tues by the bursting of a gun. he had on cleaned up the gun & loaded it, and on shooting the same, the gun bursted and the breach pin was forced from the place, striking Ally on the left side of his forehead breaking the skull through which a portion of the brain was oozing when the doctor arrived. He is hoping for a complete recovery"

Sorry that is all i have

RE: Emma Donn
Good Morning Barbara

Emma was 8 years old I found this information of a Biography of her sister Lillie Donn (my Great Grandmother) the biography was written by Lillie's son Thomas Moody Adams.

Here is the paragraph it came from.

'In 1877 when I was six and sister Emma was eight, she died of Scarlet fever. That was the same year a baby brother was born and died in infancy. Sickness continued to hover over our family. On the 18th day of August, 1878, my father died after a long fight with typhoid fever. He was 36 years at the time of his death. Tears followed tears. September 1 of the same year, my oldest brotherís, a twin (Alvin) died of the same dreaded disease. Alvin was 17. Four family deaths in two years was a blow that a few families ever had to endure."

I hope this helps to name the graves.

Oh by the way Lillie' parents were Alexander and Mary Donn. Her Paternal grandparents were Peter and Phoebe Donn.

Sandy McAdon Fantino

P.S. one of Lillie's daughters Mary Ellen Donn McAdon was my grandmother, her second son was my father Bernard McAdon

Adella Bowen Hamer

In searching for a great aunt, Sarah Elisabeth Donaldson Hamer (135405109), I found her husband, William M Hamer (135404964) married to Adella Bowen Hamer (68670256). William M Hamer was married to Sarah Elisabeth Donaldson and Clemensa Haire (135404973), all were from Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Thank you for your attention. ~~

Possible dates
As near as I can tell, some where after 1840 and before 1880. Somewhere I read that the original cemetery was located in an area threatened by the growth of the town of Inman and all the bodies were disinterred and reburied at a cemetery about 1 mile north of town. I am also confused about the difference between Zoar cemetery and North and South Inman cemeteries. Many of my family records state that the family member was buried in Zoar, but I find the memorial in North Inman. Do you know what my confusion stems from? As I recall, I toured what I thought was the Zoar cemetery in 1988, but it must have been the North Inman cemtery. All my photos of headstones that I labeled Zoar are actually shown in Find A Grave to be in North Inman!! I think that I have a photo of the "Tom Corr" headstone. I am still trying to locate it. When, and if, I do, I will upload it to the memorial. But my hours of searching for it or a negative have not resulted in a find.

Memorial 48236478
Joe (48740479) recently transferred to me the memorial of Tom Corr (48236478) who is buried at Inman North Cemetery. He did not upload a photo and suggested I contact you to see if you have any info or pictures of the gravesite or how might have relevant cemetery records. Thank you for your help on this matter.

Howard Paxton
Howard Paxton's middle initials were J.N., which I don't know what they stood for.
A volunteer found the same obit you have on here for me in the Kirwin Chief dated Oct. 27, 1918. With it saying he died last Sunday morning would make him dying on Oct. 20, 1918 not Oct. 27, 1918.

His mother, Josephine M. (Jacobs)Paxton was born in 1868 not 1869.

I am Evalene Paxton #48148135

My husband would be a 1st cousin once removed to Howard J.N. Paxton.

Thank you.

Hi, Barbara

I am not related to your mother. When I saw her memorial with no photo and no bio, I sponsored it and added the photo, then submitted a bio through the edit button. Instead of adding the bio I submitted, the person who made the memorial transferred your mother's memorial to me. So then I added the bio. I am glad to be able to transfer your mother's memorial to you.

Your mother will be greatly missed by so many of us.

Hi Barbara
We get to work together again after all these years. I got a request from the sister of twins, Edward and Edwin Stephens, to create a memorial for Edwin as I had only done one for Edward. You took a photo and posted it. Would you copy your photo that is on Edward, #48237341 over to Edwin as well? His # is 153609054.
How's everything? Still work Findagrave everyday?

Re: Ernest Simon #46695870

Getting back on your inquiry of last week (had no e-mail address for you to be able to respond directly). I do not know whether this Ernest Simon is the same as the Ernest Oshey Simon you are tracking. The data on the memorial is from the Dixon Cemetery database and gives no other clues.
