RE: Find a grave #65297250
Hi Clytee,

I took a look at this and the person who listed the daughter, Dorothy Turner, listed her birth year incorrectly; it should be 1922 instead of 1923. They posted her obituary which has the correct year of birth listed, so it must simply be a typo on their part. Good catch! Sadly, I can't fix it since I don't manage that particular memorial.

Best,
Marc

RE: Thank you!
hi Clytee,
I just noticed that I had never answered your post. It came at a very busy time, and I just overlooked it. Sorry!
I was born in Gosper County, Nebraska, near Arapahoe. My father was the Lutheran pastor, which explains my Nebraska connection. We later moved to Missouri; My mother's family is from St. Louis, and my parents met while my father was attending the Lutheran Seminary there.
My husband's family (Knehans) is from Gasconade County, although his grandparents originally settled in Franklin County.
We learned about Friedrich Knehans through German records of his birth. It seems he had a brother named Henry Matthias who also immigrated to Franklin County. I have traced some of Henry's family to the present day.
If my assumptions are correct, Henry and Friedrich are distant relatives of my husband.
Ironically, my family almost moved to Beaufort, Mo, as my father received a call to St. John's Lutheran church there.
If you are interested in anymore Knehans history, feel free to contact me, directly at Sknehans@me.com

RE: Vernon and Lois Knehans
Clytee,

Lois was my mother's sister, so Vernon is a relative by marriage. I really don't know his family history. I had access to the info I published from the bios in their memorial service programs. I will pass your message along to one of my cousins, and let you know what I hear back, though I can't promise when that will be.

Best regards,
Pam

RE: E mail address
It is Klaeger sisters who are married to my brothers. Sorry for the mix up.

RE: Klaeger
Hi,
My relationship to the Klaeger family of Franklin Co., MO is through the marriage of both of my brothers to Klaeger sisters. My niece began to have interest in the family tree so I did a little research for her benefit and forwarded it to her. I would be happy to share any information.
