RE: John Doody (#148517850)
I am not a relation of John Doody. I have been transcribing headstone photos from into the FindAGrave website because I have several family members buried there and it has been difficult to find burial records. FindAGrave seems to be a bit more user friendly, and hopefully these burial records will get more exposure. I'm glad that it helped piece a few puzzle pieces together for your Doody family.

RE: Ernest John Enright - Mount Peace Cemetery Memorial# 149360295
I think Mary Patricia McNaught Enright is married to a son named Ernest John Enright Jr., a son to Aileen Veronica and Ernest John Enright Sr. I have not proved this yet, but it seems a little more likely that this is the case. Based on dates.

RE: Mary F Dunphy
Hi Alf:

I actually have ten memorials for folks named Mary Dunphy. To clarify, are you referring to Mary in Holy Sepulchre who died in 1974?

Hi Alf,
Thank you very very much for setting up the memorial site for John Mogan, adding that great photograph of his headstone, and then having the generous heart to transfer the site to me.
Kindest regards,

RE: Minna Powell
You're very welcome, I'm glad I could help. You never know what the burial situation will be when there is was a divorce in that era. My great grandparents divorced, were living separately for many years and ended up side by side in death. I wanted to also mention that Minna was incorrectly entered as "Minnie" in the burial record so the caretakers couldn't even recall a Minna being buried there. If she hadn't had her maiden name entered on the memorial and I hadn't scoured all the markers I would never have found her. The Baileys are of the "Bailey Nursery" family, which is a huge local business and there are three large plots of Baileys at CG cem-not including the marry-ins. Looking at the map the plot she is in is adjacent to her parents plot but is a three-person plot with her and the Athertons. Isabella is her sister and Richard is her brother-in-law. I put the monument photo up since it appears they are all part of this plot when you go there and it helps to locate the graves. There are no numbers to the plots.

Minna Powell
Hello, I found your Minna Bailey but I'm not sure if this is the person you're looking for since the name is not Powell. She was buried alongside Athertons in one of the Bailey plots. The maintenance person said there were no Powells buried there at all. If she is the person you're looking for I will try for a better photo. If I go around 11 am on a sunny day there will be better light and I'll get a cleaner stone once the rains are done.

Martin Hennessey Davis plot
Ok I have updated all the davis names on the find a grave and if i found an obit I also put them in - unfortunely did not find any connection to Martin Hennessy-
not even in baptismal records as a godparent or a witness ...
so all you have to do is delete the 2 or 3 memorials - which are john Davis and Henrietta Duggan
thanks have a great day
will keep my eyes open just the same

Gerald D. Hennessy
Hello, I went this afternoon around 1:30 to the National Field of Honour. I was surprised to learn from the receptionist that someone had been there earlier about the same 2 names, a man. If I wasn't intending on visiting my parents' graves I might have been a little more miffed!

As you can see I included a picture of the general area around the grave. He is buried with another soldier which I find very interesting. My parents are buried not too far away.
Sincerely, Sharon

RE: Robert Riggs
You're very welcome.
With the white lettering, it was an easy stone to photograph. This is one of my favourite sections. The stones are all in straight rows. I've taken plenty of random photos there.

If you send for the grave location of the Riggs at Mount Royal, I can look for their stones also.
At times lately, after submitting a name on Mount Royal's genealogy page, I have received an immediate Delivery Failure Notice email. If it happens to you also, you can use the email address that is at the bottom of the Genealogy page.

RE: David Guy Pike
Wow! I don't know why some cemetery offices have this attitude. It seems a little over the top.

Thank goodness for other cemetery offices that are more than willing to help people and some even have whole departments or staff members devoted to the task.

I really appreciate your attempt to fill the request though. As for me phoning them, after knowing what happened to you, I'm not sure I'm up to trying. While I am a relative, the connection is not that close (2nd cousin 1x removed)and they may feel that doesn't meet their requirements either. I'll let you know if I proceed and if I get anything.

Thanks again.

RE: Dr. Pashby #11665283

In response to your query your listing is actually the duplicate. I added mine in 2005...but since you are related and mine is burial unknown I will delete mine. In the future though just search to see if a listing isn't already listed before you add a name or just simply ask for a transfer.
