Alice Morton
Hi again
My folks lived south east of you in Mt. Morris and East of you in the finger lakes region. They were there from about 1810 to the early 1840s when both groups moved to Brookfield Mi.(was called Moetown)
My great great grandfather was in the war of 1812 out of Buffalo then moved to Mt. Morris after the war. It is extremely hard to do genealogy in both the areas my folks lived in. Records not available.
Both families then moved to Brookfield. My Carrier family stayed there but my Moe family moved out west. Gold fever you know.

Hi Rosie
Thanks you for the kind words about my son. It was and still is hard to re-home his belongings but they are doing no one any good tucked away in a closet. bit by bit I am finding homes for things and some his brother will just have to deal with after I am gone. Thanks for asking after Damon. He had kidney cancer in Nov. of 2012 and had a kidney removed. At this point in time he is doing fine.
I hope you are all well. What part of New York are you in? My folks originally lived in upstate New York then moved to Eaton County, Michigan in 1848.

Actually, there was no page for her until I requested a photo be taken and shared the bio info with the person in charge of the page. I saw a documentary about her and was rather disappointed she didn't have a proper memorial page. I am glad she is finally being recognized.

Young on the Inside!
Hi Rosie. Yes, I remember saying to my dear Mum. Inside your poor painful old body there is a young girl. And she smiled and said "Yes Sue, I am 16 inside"! It is how we feel inside that keeps us going. (our bodies certainly do not at times!)
Mick is not too bad, but getting less able to walk, and not good on his feet, but we keep going and trying to keep our chins up (not so hight that we trip over though!) Take care of yourselves.

George Johnson
Thanks again Rosie, George is getting lots of nice tokens. As it turned out the cemetery staff gave us the wrong George Johnson and we found the right one and he does have a head stone. So it all turned out for the best. All the corrections have been made on his memorial and a photo of the head stone has been added too. Have a nice weekend.

V Kowald Blaise💗
Yes they are very evil, my world has not been as bright since he left this world. Even though I knew him for a short while as a child he made a big impact on my life. It would have been great for him to see me now, grown up. Taken too soon that is for sure. Thank you for visiting his memorial, you are very kind. <3

I don't know if I ever got the chance to thank you for leaving flowers for my pet rat Belle. I am warmed to know you took the time to do that. Thanks so much. <3

Needs Flowers
Hi Rosie, This is very sad. This vet was killed at Pearl Harbor. He's buried in a public cemetery near me and has never had a headstone. He's been there since 1941. I'm going to do all I can to get him a headstone. But can you please leave him a token in his memory? He's only gotten a few tokens. Many thanks. His ID # is: 49308282

Rodney Todd Family
Thank you for letting me know about the memorial for the Rodney Todd family. The Todd family lived in Maryland and I watched the local news and was struck by their tragic loss. I cannot imagine the pain their family and friends are experiencing now.

Hope you are doing well, my friend. Take care.

Rosie I have always connected to you through our Daddys. I know we both yearn for something to remember, to hold in our hand. I do have a short glimpse, in my head, of my Daddys funeral. I had a bracelet he made and left for me. It was lost or stolen when I was in the hospital a while back. Even though I had everyone searching for it, it was never returned to me. That was all I had and I never took it off my wrist. Never. Someone removed it at the hospital and I never saw it again. You have a lot of nice photos. I was thinking you had only one. Glad I was wrong about that...Photos are such a blessing after a loved one is gone...

RE: Needing flowers,
Hi Rosie, Thank you for letting me know. It happened in the state where i live and didn't know their names. Such a terrible thing to happen. Bad enough when its a adult but even worse with all those little ones too.
I've posted them on my page.

Hugs Melissa
