Longley and family in Plowman Cemetery
Hello. We wanted to say thank you for the photos of the grave stones of the Longley and extended family at Plowman Cemetery which you posted on Findagrave.com.

As for your photos ... may we have permission to post them (and any other of your photos of our ancestors' and/or their graves that you may have posted or will post in the future) on our Ancestry.com file. We post a message under the photo (see the text below for the content of the post). We have no interest in publishing any books or using the photos in any way other than for genealogical purposes. We have several things we post under the photos depending on the "owner" of the photo's desires. We have two below ... if you will allow us to post your grave photos on our Ancestry file then we'll place the statement of your choice. The second one has a _____ in it and that's where we would place your e-mail address so people can contact you directly for permission.

NOTE: This photo was obtained from a Findagrave.com photo volunteer and the volunteer has kindly given me permission to post this on my Ancestry.com file. You must take the steps to contact the owner of the photo for permission to use this photo for your personal use ... permission is NOT granted by me for any use as it is not mine to give.

NOTE: This photo was obtained from a Findagrave.com photo volunteer. Permission is NOT granted by me for any use as it is not mine to give. You must contact _______ for permission to use this photo.

Again, thank you so much for your kindness ... Find A Grave volunteers are wonderful people :-)

RE: Whitney Houston
I'm sorry to say that I was not surprised by Whitney's death, she had been in bad shape for awhile. People think that if you have fame and money, that you have it all. Not true. Down deep everyone hurts the same. Drugs have never been my problem if they had I would have been dead years ago.
I will get back to you on getting the items you have made for me. It's so odd that someone wants to give me something instead of take from me.
I hope your family is doing great and that you are taking care of yourself. I'm getting ready to leave for a month keep me in your prayers.

RE: Merry Christmas my friend
Hey, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I was sick for two weeks and and just now getting back to 100 percent. I love the color of purple it's my favorite, but won't feel right about accepting a gift, but thanks for thinking of me, I don't think very many people I know do that.
I hope that you and your family are doing great, take care of yourself and stay safe. God Bless.

I have been in search of my grgr grandfather for several years. Today, I called a cousin to ask some questions and her son looked him up on google and found this page. Before he found the page we was talking about meeting up and trying to find the grave to get pictures. Thanks so much for the pictures. Are you related in anyway to the family? Hope to hear from you soon.

RE: RE:working too hard
I think that it's great that you make your Christmas gifts. In a house where every thing that is wanted is bought the things I treasure the most is a hand made quilt that my grandmother made and a dress that my great-grandmother made. I wouldn't trade them for any gift bought at the mall. I also wouldn't trade the memories of being at my Granny's house and smelling homemade pies or eating fresh biscuits. That's what is wrong with this country, everyone thinks that money and things are the anwswer. WRONG!!! My Grandmother never had the money to buy me anything more than a coloring book, and still to this day she is still the person who I most respect in my family. So be proud of your homemade gifts, if I were in your family I would be upset to get a store bought gift.
God bless you, and I hope you have a Wonderful Christmas.

RE: worried again
Sorry to hear about your friend, what kind of person runs over someone and then tries to leave? I hope they throw the book at her.
I hope you've been doing ok. I have been on the road non-stop for quite a while, and was supposed to be out until the first of 2012. But I had to come home for a couple of weeks. Not to get into too much detail, but for the next three weeks, I am to eat nothing but fruit and raw veggies. My weight tends to go up if I don't get enough exercise.
I hope that you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving and that all your family is healthy and happy.

Hello
Hi, I hope your doing good. I also hope you had a Great Easter. This is the first Easter in several years that I was able to be home. How are you and your hubby doing?

RE: missing you
I love the new picture that you have with your message. I am home and have been here a couple of days. Headed out tomorrow. Things are about the same, I'm sure someone has prayed for me because it's a little better. Money has torn this family apart and I'm not sure if there is any fix to it.
How are you? I hope you and your husband are doing great and taking care of each other. I was in Tennessee about a month ago.
Thanks for thinking of me, you may very well be the only person that I know that does not want something from me.
When I leave tomorrow I think that I won't be home until the first week of May, but sometimes things change. Take care..........

May there always be work for UR hands to do. May UR purse always hold a coin or two. May the sun always shine on UR windowpane. May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain. tMay the hand of a friend always be near U & may God fill UR heart with gladness to cheer you.

Gave a great day filled with "the Luck of the Irish" xoxo Ruth

RE: HAPPY NEW YEAR
I have been on the road, I'm just home for one day. Your right it's cold, it's cold all most everywhere. I hope your doing great and are off to a great start for the new year. I made it thru another year and am always glad for that. I thought of you last week, sometimes you can say things to someone who doesn't know you that well, better than to people who think they really know you. Anyway my life and family are in a real mess right now, if you are a praying person, please pray for me. Take care of yourself and your family.

Please be extra careful in that cold of weather
as I also have shortness of breath & breathing in the cold air doesn't help. We are expecting 6" of snow by Tuesday night but no ice. I'll be glad when winter is over & the sun stays around for awhile. Bye for now & take care.
