|Max||Henry Wilmont or Wilmot|
I've given your contact to a newly found cousin Tom Shaunessy, as he as just told me that part of Pine Island Cemetery may be paved over for building.
You have listed Henry Wilmont who seems to be the same as my James Henry Wilmot

|Michael Ryley Bradbury||RE: Wixon photos.|
The monument as you can see, is easily found once you know what you are looking for. The cemetery on Christian St is on the left as you are ging south from B'water. The left side is he older section of
the cemetery. In the middle section there is a
mix of old and more recent burials. The Wixons are in this middle section toward the back of the cemetery. Good luck in your exploration. You might want to contact Janet who developed the initial memorials and see if she might transfer the memorials to you...since you are "family" it would seem a valid request.

Thank you for taking the time and looking for the marker for my newly discovered cousin Elizabeth Whitney. I know that the old markers are very hard to locate or there simply is no marker. But I wanted to say thanks for taking the time and looking. Have a great day.

|Kim Phillips Eaton||John Millay|
Hello. I see you have a memorial in for John Millay with dates different that what I recorded out of the Town Clerk's records in Bowdoinham. You have a 10 year difference in birth year than the record book. Do you know where he is buried and does the stone have your dates on it ? Thanks

|Greg Hetzler||Fitch Family|
Hello, I had tried to utilize the ‘Suggest a correction' link but it is not enabled the Fitch family memorials. Thomas Fitch (III) and Hannah Hall would be my 8th Great Grandparents. You have great enthusiasm for the work you have done; the memorials are great to see. I am contacting you about the memorial for Thomas "GOV" Fitch (Find A Grave Memorial# 5013). The ‘V' is incorrect, and I am sorry, I think of a Mel Brooks film when I hear ‘Gov". The suffix for Honorable Governor Thomas Fitch commonly referenced as being IV. The page 48 of the Barbour Collection cites him as marrying Hannah Hall and uses the suffix "Jr". For a good summary of Thomas Fitch IV and Thomas Fitch V, the link at the Connecticut State Library, http://www.cslib.org/gov/fitcht.htm, has a great short biography listed. The link can be located on the Norwalk Historical Society site at http://www.norwalkhistoricalsociety.org/AboutFitchnew.html.
I do not know why the "Suggest a Correction" is not working on these memorials; let me know if I can assist in any way. Always interested in meeting my cousins.

|Lizzy H||Robert Carver & Christian Turner Carver|
Hi, I have a question, would you happen to know any of their decendents? I maybe making a quantem leap, seeing as I have not yet found concrete proof. But I believe these maybe my ancestors, the only names I have to link them to are 2 century's of decendents away. Christopher Carver born in Pennsylvania in 1705, his mother and father Christopher Carver and Isabel Welding both also born in Pennsylvania. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

|Cindy D||Joseph & Sarah Millay|
The only Millay's found at Sea View Cemetery are on the Rockport side, not Rockland. The names are the same but Sarah is listed as a "Salisbury" with the same DOB & DOD along with a few other members of the family. Are these the same people your looking for?

Thanks for the notation regarding the absence of headstone and records at the East Norwalk Historical Cemetery for this woman an what appears to be the rest of her family.
I've run into similar problems with sites by this contributor. Sorry for the wild goose chase but pinning it down one way or another, is valuable research on it's own.

Like the person who left a message on your page before me, I too am so happy when a memorial page finds it way to a family member. That's what motivates me to "collect" these names. I love this site. I'm glad you found us here too.
It's weird Enos Wilson's memorial page was created exactly one year ago today. I am hoping to retake the photo at some point. I went there on an overcast day after it had rained so the lighting wasn't very good. I tried to make it as clear as possible with what I had.
Take care, and let me know if there are any others! Always happy to share family info, especially when it comes to Civil War veterans.
