Hi Christina,
From familysearch.org. 1860 Roane Co. census. He is 11 years old. I think the correct date would be 1848. Based on the birth date of his sister, Ethelind Oct. 1849. It is very hard to get a correct date based on a census. I don't want to be wrong neither. Hope this helps. Thank you. Diane

Adding link to daughter's
Christina,

I would greatly appreciate it if you added a link to Laura Melsenia Lowe Abbott's eldest daughter
Elsie Mae Abbott Fox's memorial. She went by Mae so her gravestone says Mae Fox. The memorial lists Elsie Mae Fox. You can look at the 1900 census for the family and see Mae E. listed as daughter. In the 1920 census she is listed again as Mae E. in the household of Howard Fox. My mother never knew her grandmother Elsie Mae as Elsie passed away a couple of weeks after my grandmother married. She did know her great grandmother Laura Abbott though. Though Laura passed away long before I was born I did get to visit her house in Butte Falls.

I appreciate all the work you do on find a grave. I have to ask if you are by chance related to the family?

Thanks again,
Lorita Willard-Cushman

RE: How to change the order photos appear
Good morning Christina, Thanks so much. I will contact those who are active and those that have closed their messages, I guess the photos will just go on in order received.
I am enjoying adding photos to some sites that do not have any. We did most of our research in 1989-2006 so have photos of some graves that were nearly gone then. I suppose there is little left of them now. I am doing the work, but most of the ones here are on my husband's side. He appointed me secretary, haha Keep up your good work. NLM

How to change the order photos appear
Re 66426916 Infant King. I recently added photos to this nicely done memorial. We did our research years ago and have never belonged to find a grave. Sad to see that the baby's gravestone has deteriorated so much, but it has been a long time since we took our photo.
Anyway, you seem so efficient that I thought you might be able to answer this question. If I want to add photos to a site and there are already some there, can I change the order so that the gravestone photo submitted by others will show first on the page before my submissions? I hate to push some of the nice gravestone photos down to the bottom of the page or even to the extra photos page. The creators of some of our family memorials are no longer taking messages. Hope you can help, NLM #48765063

Yerbey Cemetery
I fear that development will take over this cemetery. Do you see any need to worry? Or will this area stay rural?. Just Wondering, George Davis ( descendent of William Yerbey and Sarah Harriett Ware)

Adams
Am wondering where you got the information that James F. Adams & Minerva Adams are buried in Bean Cemetery?

My records indicate that they were buried in an Adams Family Cemetery.

I've transcribed and photographed Bean Cemetery and didn't find stones for either of them.

Would like to correct my information about their burial place if it is wrong.

They're Not Alone
RE: Thank You, Thank You So Much
so you feel the same way that I do about the memorials....I have run across that before and I swore to my mom that from now on I was gonna make sure and make our family members memorials before someone who didn't even know them just see's them in the paper and makes them not giving any thought to how family feels. I think they should wait for a decent amount of time before jumping on a new death and making the memorial without giving the family a chance to grieve and possibly making the memorial themselves when they feel they are ready to make it if they happen to know they can make one online. It is sort of hurtful otherwise. I ran into that a couple times when making our families memorials. I have made several for other people who have crossed and not been given a memorial page but most of them have crossed a while ago so I figured they had no one who knew how or had access or else no one who cared to do so for them. Everyone deserves to be remembered and honored and recognized and Never Forgotten. I am glad that Grandma's book and pics are with someone in the family who cares. I was hoping someone in the family would take some photos at the ceremony but I kinda think no one did. I cudnt be there so it wud have been nice to see it in photos. I think photos are a treasure that can save a moment in time that you can never get back again and so they are important to me. Add as many as it will let you when you get some scanned I don't mind and im sure any family who goes in to look will appreciate it as well.
hugs, Your Cousin

They're Not Alone
Thank You, Thank You So Much
Dear Christina,
Thank You so much for sponsoring Grandpa John's memorial and for the edits and the pics to Grandpa's memorial....love the pics....I hadn't seen that one of Grandpa in many years. I was gonna go in and add stuff like his name and family members if I cudnt find them on find a grave but it wasn't easy to make his page at first and so I needed a break and when I went in tonight to do a few things, and there was ur messages. I didn't know anyone else had made one for him. Thank you for the links to family members for him. It makes it a lil easier for me. I wanted so badly to practically bronze his life for everyone to see but it hurts so much at the same time so that makes it a lil difficult to just sit down and do all at once. I posted it to FB for family members to be able to go see it and leave comments and whatever they wanted when they are ready to do so but at the moment everyone is pretty heartbroken but when they are ready, it is a good healthy way to work thru some of the grief. Thank You so much again....Carleen

Charles and Martha Kinnison
Christina, I visited McNeel Cem in Pocahontas County, WV last week. I bought a little booklet that had all the names of those buried there, including some names that were buried in unmarked graves. Charles and Martha were not mentioned, although there were 19 Kinnison's listed. Please let me know if I can be of any further help.
