Please transfer Memorial #149303204 Allie Mae Hollis as this is my cousin.

I saw your request concerning Mr. Wilkerson. With so little information available about him, your best bet would be to just order his death certificate, which should list his place of burial (see: http://www.michigan.gov/documents/deathapp_6467_7.pdf). While most states only allow next-of-kin to order death certificates from recent years, the State of Michigan allows anyone to request anybody's death certificate from any year for any reason.

This is how you can tell who entered the memorial first:
129578425 this one was second
129571874 mine was first (it has the lower control number).
Since she created the duplicate, she may delete hers...many thanks and happy taphophiling

My Greatgrandfather's middle name is listed in our family book as Willis. He also had an infant son whom was named Willis. We have other family members in our book with the last name of Willis. I just did not hear that it was Willis. It was written there by the author, a relative who was a mormon and they specialized in genealogy. Grace Nina Gleaton Branch. Just wanted to let you know it was not hearsay. Renda Palmer Doherty, Thankyou

I have a question that I thought you would be the best person to ask.
When you add a memorial that is of an Unknown Man or Woman. Which would you say is the correct way to add it? Unknown Man or Man Unknown? Or does it really matter anyway?
It is just that someone has been asking me for an edit and I think it is plain stupid. I HAVE UNKNOWN MAN. Please advise Thanks Mary

|Rebecca McIntosh||141794754 Keir and 124086851 Wedd|
Some time ago you sent me a "correction" on 2 memorials for which I had no last name and you sent me a msg stating that they were "obviously" Keir's. I thought I would let you know, through the diligent and extensive research of my husband, we have found they were NOT named Keir, but in fact one was a Keir but the child May was NOT a "Keir" but the child of an unknown (at that time) sister so she was a Wedd NOT a Keir. Submitting corrections when you have facts can be helpful but in this case, if the name correction you had submitted had gone through unchallenged, you would have created a false record and she never would have been connected to her mother. It has taken us over a year to work out the correct connections, but please consider this when making suggestions for corrections. We had even been in touch with the cemetery and they were unclear - we do our research.

|Rick Henderson||John J Baxter #16714322|
John is listed in the 2004 survey for Friendship Cemetery, Malone. He is not listed in the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church survey. His wife is not listed in either survey. Her memorial is in Friendship Missionary but I think that the memorial creator got the incorrect cemetery. I'm fairly certain the John is in Friendship Cemetery near Malone. I'll be going back up there for a photo request withing a few days and I'll sort it out for you. You may want to sent me your email address.

Thank you for contributing the memorial to Doris M. Hickey.
Doris M Hickey is my grandmother's sister. Doris' birth name is Ora Mae Popplewell and her nickname was Doris.
At any rate, is there a way you can make notation that her birth name is Ora Mae Popplewell and nickname is Doris? This is the second request today; her brother "Pete" was born Oris Samuel. Can't imagine why they didn't like their names.
I know how very busy you are and I thank you kindly if you would help.

I have a diary page that indicates her father died in 1862 and she asked her mother to come live with her in Iowa. She dated it in 1862 with her initials.

I don't think she died in 1860. I have a document that indicates she was alive in September of 1862.
