RE: Malachi Robertson
Yes, Malachi had two sons by his wife, Arvel and Earnest. He also fathered two sons with his sister-in-law. They were Elmer Wilson and William Wilson. Send me your email address, and I can provide a lot more information.

Joe Steelmanm
Thanks for your assistance. Yes, Joe Steelman was cremated, i.e., both he and Rebecca had donated their remains to science. I was just wondering if you or someone else might have made a memorial for him similar to the one for his wife, Rebecca (Schudy) Steelman. I don't "think" anyone has made a memorial for him, therefore, would it be appropriate for you to duplicate the memorial (similar to the one) made for Rebecca Steelman?

I see you have added a remembrance for the above, She was wife of my Uncle on the maternal side. Could we be related? I should so like to hear from you. I had very fine cousins from this line of relatives. I visited several times to the Ava, and surrounding areas. I always admired the simple lifestyle that was prevalent at that time. Do you have any information on others in that area? Thanks for the remembrance to Aunt Opal.

How interesting that you created this memorial; any idea where a Find A Grave Memorial might be for husband, Joe Steelman?
My parents were close friends with Joe and Rebecca; our families took many month-long trips together. Dorie Sheppard Find A Grave #47311560

RE: Brown
My mother grew up at Rockbridge. She has kin that live in Bixie and past relations live at Souder. This is the base of the Fry Clan. My great grandfather run a general store in Almartha (named after his uncle Albert and Aunt Martha McPherson) and egg delivery to Springfield, Mo. He had a big family, so most of the people who have lived in the area a couple of generations are kin. The odds are pretty high that you passed husband was kin.

Is your family relate to Sadie Brown Fry, great granddaughter of Harpers Ferry Va fame John Brown? Sadie is photographed with my Great Great Great Grandmother MarryLu "Vina" Hobbs Hammons. They lived in the Douglas/ Ozark county line until the 1920s when Sadie passed and Vina moved to Wilder, ID to be with most of her family.

RE: Parents of Joel Edward Hartley
In response to your question I just checked and Joel had not been linked to his parents. If you would like me to send their find a grave numbers again I would be glad to. I can not do the link unless you want to set it up to have me manage the page.
