|Berneta Corl||RE: Eliza Ann Jolly 1879-1959|
Have entered a picture of Eliza Ann she is my great aunt on grandfaters side.
All the family always spelled the last name as Jolley. Elizas' Find A Grave number is 46428601. May I ask how you are related. I also have a couple more pictures taken when she was older.

|Aaron Titus||Thank You|
I cannot thank you enough for documenting the McBride Cemetery in Williamson County. I am related to each of those individuals, and it is extremely meaningful to be able to connect with them. Thank you so much.

I have indeed received them, Thomas, and it looks like a superb archive of information. It will take us a week or two to digest it all, and then I might get back to you with a question.
At first glance, I don't see the two oldest generations of this family: Joseph Terry Williams (1756-1833) and his children and their spouses, most of whom died in Jackson Co. This makes me wonder if there is not another old Williams cemetery on another parcel of land, one not included in the Crab Apple Lake project. Would you know?

|wayne||Williams graves in Carterville Community Cem.|
Hello Mr. Palmer
We would like to know something about the many Williams graves in Carterville Cem. that were moved there about 1940 when Crab Orchard Lake was filled. It appears that you have made most of the memorials.
Many of the stones are flat with no data except the name. We're wondering if perhaps these were provided by the state--or whatever entity was responsible for moving the graves. Maybe the old stones were impossible to move without breaking. Is that what happened?
Would you know if there were older graves, perhaps unmarked, that were left in place? (The earliest grave in Carterville appears to be an 1891 death.) We are missing graves for the whole first generation of the Williams family in Jackson Co. (descendents of Joseph Terry Williams (1756-1833), and we assume they were buried in the old Williams Cem. Joseph Terry Williams and his wife would also have been buried there.
Would you happen to have an article that describes the event of the relocation? Or perhaps a link to a news story? We'd very much appreciate learning a little more.

Your memorial picture is lovely. Thank you. Just so you will know, his middle name is Joel. Also there is another memorial to him #48274672. He is my uncle, but the other memorial is not mine. Judith Mente

Hannah Wickenden and her husband John are ancestors of mine on my mother's side of the family. I have been working to create a detailed digital family tree and I was wondering if you had any information on Hannah or her family. Thanks for your time!
