info you requested
Hi, I'm sorry but I don't know much, as our family didn't share much of its history.
Jacob Wirth Jr., my grandfather, was the son of Jacob Wirth, sr. and Maria Wirth, who are listed as his parents on his page, and are buried near him in the Wirth plot.
The only sibling I know of was a sister named Elisa, but there may have been more. I believe they lived in Kreuznach, Germany, because they had a vineyard there before the war.

Hope this helps,
Elisa Bernstein

RE: Rose Headstones
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe there were several Sowers headstones just to the east of the Rose headstones. I actually took pictures of about 15 different headstones today so I'm not sure, but I usually look around to see if there are obvious relatives and Sowers does seem to ring a bell in my memory.

the Wirths in Boston
Hi Marchelle. Yes, my grandfather, Jacob Wirth did indeed have a brewery in Boston, founded by his father, Jacob Wirth Sr. in the 1800's. I believe there's a poster for it in my J.Wirth's, or J.Wirth, senior's pics on his page here.
My grandfather's mother was Maria Wirth, and her grave is on my page as well. They are all buried at Forest Hills cemetery in Jamaica Plain, Boston area.

I can't remember the names of Jacob's siblings, but if I find out, I'll drop you a line. Thanks for asking!

I didn't know Neda. I created her memorial from her obituary. Yes, I would like to know the names of our Anderson uncles. Could you attach them to the picture I send.

Thanks. Arla

Hi, Marchelle

My father was delivered by Dr. Sater June 1 1921 in Meadow Creek, ID. Is there any way you could email me a full size copy of the photo you posted on FindAGrave? Best regards, Kent Gardiner

RE: Anna Marie Steiger Gessel
I found Gottlieb's immigration record, and I have access to a book about Providence, UT, that features him fairly prominently, and she's mentioned only once; as his mother. I suspect that she never actually came to America, and is buried, probably, near her husband.

Because of the confusion, I have removed the photo I posted yesterday (and I believe that headstone belonged to Anna's granddaughter Anna Vogel).

Since Anna is already linked to her children, I would suggest that you just changer her burial to unknown.

Orson Johnson 1844-1913
I have been working in Preparation Cemetery, for a while and checked again yesterday. Orson's stone is not there. Although Edward (d.1872), Percy (d.1874) and Mabel (d.1900) are there with lots of space around. Also, I want to mention that the records for Preparation Cemetery burned in/or about 1930. Note: Preparation Cemetery is in Monona County and the correct name is Preparation Cemetery.
