RE: Albert Gallen Polson 125197222
I should know in about 4 to 6 weeks. I'm recovering from shoulder surgery and still doing therapy. I have 128 stone rubs to do there, 39 being in that old section. One stone is next to Jane Polson, daughter of Albert & Alice. One stone is to the right of Albert's home made stone and it is an upright stone. I took pictures of these 128 stones as close as I could, but still can't make out all of the info -hence, the need for stone rubs with aluminum foil. Also, the weather should be cooler by then.

RE: Charles and Laura Tracy
You can make her a memorial with F.A.G. in the Mount Hebron - Odessa cemetery. She is listed in Volume 1 - page 6 of Brunetti's Tobstones of Lafayette County as having a gravestone there. Here's the way that line in the book reads: TRACY Elizabeth wf. Charles 1837 - 1880.
Let me know if you want to download all 7 volumes volumes of Brunetti's 1970's surveys of Lafayette County Cemeteries which is free online if you know where to look. Bill

RE: Henry Rufus Dean
35275507 on this memorial as I stated to you earlier, you have Henry, Jr as his father when he is the brother. Look before you start to justify it. It is very easy to see, Henry Jr is only 5 years old when his brother was born.

Johson Cemetery
I don't live in SC and only know of the location on the cemeteries home page on findagrave plus the info I added which was given to me by Volz in an attempt to find the cemetery & gravestones there. Too bad about that neglected cemetery. Its a shame no one can get in there to clean up and at least document all stones there and take photos.

Janet in reference to the picture you asked about.
I know it is not Nora Margaret.
I don't think it is Aunt Ann. I uploaded a picture for you to compare.
I think it might be one of grandmothers Nora Gregory's sisters.

Hope this helps Carol

RE: Guyotha and Cora Douglass
You're quite welcome. It helps a great deal that you had the section so I was able to track it down. so many people don't have that and their requests stay on there a long time, unless someone happens to stumble across it.

Yes, the transcription book does have Mary listed. It has Mary E Yarrington (wife of I N Yarrington) died 30 Mar 1893, 35y 6m 17d This book was transcribed in 1980's and the information came from visible (and legible) headstones. Isaac may very well be buried here, but there may not be a headstone present. According to the Wellston burial records she was laid to rest in Section D, Lot 19 (west 1/2)in 1898? I will see if I can locate this.

Yes, I'd interested in the Goodwin Family. I'm still trying to verify who my Goodwins were in the Carolinas. Any lead would be helpful. Thank you very much.

Bass Family
I've made the changes you requested. Are you researching the Bass Family? They were closely associated with my Goodwins in Trussville. Do you know where they came from? I suspect my Goodwins settled in Trussville with friends or families from another area of the country. I just looking for new leads.

I have sent an email with pictures if where she shoukd be but even though there is a space for her grave there is no stone. I wonder if it was lost at some point and not replaced?
