Hillcrest photo requests
That's a huge cemetery in Savannah. Wonder if there's any way you could find out and denote on those memorials, the burial plot locations for these you are asking to be photographed. My friend Linda Wallis loves to go graving when she's not a docent and working. She helped me so much. Maybe call the cemetery and ask for the burial plot locations? I know Linda asked me to do that before she found and photographed some of my Asendorf family in Bonaventure.

RE: Amanda Wittschen
Just trying to connect the German dots on these Wittschen(s). I'm working toward proving, sourcing and solidifying links between Wittschen/Asendorf.

Zilphy Meeks Hutcheson
Are you related to Zilphy? I am assuming so since you have detailed information about the family bible date conflict. I descend from her daughter Mary Celia Hutcheson. Would love to know more about this side of my family! Email VickiMizrahi@aol.com

So glad that you got the transfers. It takes a little time to get things done as all these are volunteers with jobs and families.

RE: Sgt. R. Millen, Laurel Grove
I actually just submitted the info last week so there was no delay.
There are a couple corrections if you'd like to edit the info. Sgt. R. Millen's full name is Richard Dennis Millen Jr. His exact birthdate is 4 Feb 1839.
And he was killed in the Battle of Sayler's Creek in Virginia, 2 days before Robert E. Lee surrendered.
Thanks.

I just spoke with her daughter - no idea where the HALL info came from, but her correct maiden name is Darley. Can you fix that on her memorial? Thank you! Another mystery solved!

RE: Vaughan Smith
Hi, and thanks, Darleen! Vaughan Smith is a relation of mine - his father Benjamin Glenn Smith was my great-granduncle. So if you'd be willing to transfer his memorial to my management (Member# 47548389), I certainly wouldn't object! ;) And it's interesting about the logbook - I may put in a request for a photo of this memorial at some point, to see how the name is spelled on the actual headstone. Anyway, thanks again!

Memorial #31195189

In the bio section, it states:
Daughter of Aaron Tyson and Martha Hall

Do you know this info came from? Records, etc?
I am in contact with her grandson who said her maiden name was Darly. Just confused at the moment! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
