Wm M. Southwick
Hi there-
I am photographing Block 54 in Evergreen Cemetery and notice your memorial for William Marshall Southwick, and added a pic of his marker. #119433937, husband of Bernice. There are no dates on his marker, as it is a concrete temp marker, but is still very readable. I know this is the correct William because I am checking Lot books for the Lot numbers.

Let me know if you would like any further pictures of surrounding graves to see what the cemetery looks like, and I would be glad to take some pictures.

It would be a lot easier for me if you go into the "edit" tab and ask for me to transfer to the number that F.A.G. assigned to you. Your number is: 47198431. Thanks!

RE: Susan M. Garfield buried Gale and Gates Cemetery, Royalston, Worcester Co, MA
Thank you for the additional information for Susan Garfield. I updated Susan's memorial with the info you provided. Is Susan a relative of yours? Do you have other relatives at Gale and Gates?

I plan on revisiting Gale and Gates again this spring. I have put all of the names and gravestone info into a spreadsheet and eventually want to pass it on to the town of Royalston for their records. Hope to be able to identify some of the broken stones as well.

Parr
Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that I went to Phoenix Cemetery today to try and fulfill your Parr photo requests. Unfortunately the graves for Thomas, Mildred & Jewel are all unmarked. I did add a photo of the whole Parr family plot so at least you can see what the area looks like. I got so lucky when I got to the cemetery because there was a really nice lady working there who had a binder with her containing cemetery info. Amazingly she told me that she knows of the Parr family and that Jewel Parr was her father's best friend. Also that Mildred Parr's parents James & Clara Viall are also buried at Phoenix. I added another couple of photos for them too. She gave me abit more info on the family that was in the records. Could be it's all stuff you already know. If you'd like me to send you the other info just let me know.

Georgie Ann Hankins
Isaac Phillips first wife, Nancy Hankins
I am a Hankins researching family history of Daniel Hankins m Anna Collier who was the parents of Nancy Hankins m Isaac Phillips. Daniel and Anna Collier Hankins had ten children: Nancy was forth born in their family. Do you have any contacts to her and Isaac Phillips childrens families? In one of my old albumns is a photo of a Phillips. Now I will go back and see if it has a first name. If you are interested in the Hankins history I can share my reserch with you. The ten children were:
Roland Hankins m 1. Mary Elizabeth Davison
2. Barbara Ellen Davison (sisters)
Rebecca Hankins m James Carl Melton
Sarah Jane Hankins m Richard T. Baker
Nancy Hankins m Isaac Phillips
Alexander Hankins
James Hankins m Arrlempa Hankins (1st cousins)
Lucinda Hankins
Amos Hankins m Sarah E. Beavers
Enos Hankins m Katherine Berry
Mary Ellen Hankins m John Wesley Beavers
(Amos and Enos twins) Alexander died civil war and Lucinda died 1860

I am looking for death place of Nancy Hankins Phillips. Any help you could give me would complete my group sheet of Daniel and Anna Collier Hankins children with the exception of where Lucinda Hankins is buried, died 14 Oct 1960, possibly Mo in Gentry as her family was their in census of Aug 1860.
Sincerely, Georgie Ann Hankins Waddell

I am assuming you are referring to the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hanover county, VA. If so, it does not appear to be African-American. John

RE: High Creek Cemetery
Gee! Thanks! I also happen to have the pages from the Gone But Not Forgotten book! I see that John & Mary T. Parr are the parents of Alice & Lulu. John & Mary are not in the High Creek Cemetery. Actually, I do not see John & Mary in Atchison County. There is a Floyd Alfred Parr b, 11/13/1901 in Oklahoma, died 9/28/1983 and is buried at St Johns Lutheran Cemetery with Mary Catherine Parr b 5/22/1905 died 12/8/1985. Mary C. is the daughter of Louis J. & Anna Louise (Broermann) Joesting. Floyds parents are Harry & Mary (Staples) Parr.
I hope this helps! I will try to update all of ths. However I am working on a trip to Sweden right now!
