|Anonymous||RE: Piper Valley Valleyor Pieper's Cemetery|
As far as I know, the proper name is Pieper's Valley Cemetery. It appears on the cemetery signage and on the display cemetery history at the site. See cemetery page.
"Piper" probably came from someone who only heard the word spoken but never actually seen it written - or perhaps some parts of the family Americanized the name - or someone made a typo.

Thank you for your message. I have already been in contact with Linda. Do you have any additional info about Cecelia K. Stevenson? Did you know her or her family?

I am at a total loss on these people. I do know of a Claude Austin Masters who lived in ND and was buried in Minnesota. But the younger Claude Austin or Margaret Mary Masters I don't have anything on. Sorry...

Not sure which memorial you meant but nothing wrong with this one. Jane born 1809 and her mother passed 1870's.

|D. Barber||RE: Harvey Franklin Billings wives|
Hi there - Kate was my 2nd great grandmother. I got the information out of a family genealogy book for her line based on family research (so obviously human error is possible). I would be happy to share whatever you may need.
I also have some WWII letters (transcribed from newspaper articles) from Harvey F. Billings (1922-1945) to his parents Harry and Alvira(?) - these were last letters they received prior to his death while at war. Let me know if you would be interested. Harvey would be Kate's grandson through Harry.
The book I have states Kate's husband Harvey had one son by a previous marriage, Archie Billings. This leads me to believe that he was married prior to Kate and I assumed that was his first wife, Sophia - who died in 1888. Kate and Harvey married in 1894 (based on copy of what appears to be a marriage certificate).

I sent to you a spread sheet, in your private email email@example.com, so if its not in your main email, it may be in your junk mail. Its the cemetery's most complete data...collected by Mr Cool over years as a funeral director who had access to various sources.

Hello, the county doesn't have much but our Geneology Club member, Larry Cool, has worked hard to get all the records pulled together. He's also helped me connect with the person that was supposed to manage the cemetery (but hasn't done much other than hold the title). I've got to press the county to get the road repaired so the road can be safely traveled to the cemetery. State law requires the county to "maintain" the cemetery but until someone complains of their LACK of maintaining, they will continue to neglect it.

|AnisahD||Re: Fountain Cemetery, South Dakota|
I'm contacting you as one of those managing a memorial for a Fountain Cemetery grave.
I live 5 miles from Fountain Cemetery, which I have volunteered to care for as part of our local Brookings County Genealogical Society project.
I'm contacting those managing graves right now so as to inquire if they have any special needs for photos ect as spring approaches... I will be heading out to the cemetery to mow, repair animal damage and fence repairs, etc at the almost abandoned cemetery. Its off the beaten path, that requires some hardy driving over rutted and washed out trails. But each spring I try to make it to the cemetery.
This spring, its my goal to try to identify more of the cemetery graves & to get SOME Form of marker on a percentage of those currently unmarked.
Larry Cool has provided me a Google Document that lists the entire list of those inturned at the cemetery. I hope to get that up soon.
Anyhow, if you have relatives there that you would like to have graves given flowers to, please let me know. I'm looking to landscape a bit once we get the debris cleared & stones back upright, etc.
A local sculptor has volunteered to make a new steel sign to replace the broken wooden one. So hopefully the cemetery will see "new life".
Also I welcome anyone living near to the area, who would like to volunteer and make this one woman crew a bit more "Crew" :D My goal is to have the graves prepped and pretty for Memorial Day, in May.
Sincerely Anisah D

I am not related to anyone in Minnesota, but I document cemeteries here. If you want me to add information or family links, just use the suggest a correction on each Memorial. If you want to request transfer to you, use that link on the memorial. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is a relative or not. I was taking pictures in this cemetery the other day and came across an unmarked stone with just dates on it. I believe it's Richard's. The white stone is located next to the tall black one, see the two pictures I uploaded to find a grave.

|Jaci||RE: Update for these people|
re: DeCambaliza's. Updates done with slight modifications. Since Princeton is a city in Mille Lacs and Sherburne counties and Find A Grave only has Princeton in Mille Lacs- I listed it there. Also, the city of Harolds birth is not listed, so put it into his bio. For any future additions (which are gladly accepted) Please, use the edit button on the upper right hand corner of the person's memorial, click on suggest a correction and enter the information there. It provides a direct link to the memorial and is much easier to add the information. Thanks for your contribution!
