My Genealogy is listed under PHILLIPS OF WEST VIRGINIA. If you type in James Clayton Phillips born in Randolph County, West Virginia. You will see it.

RE: Jacob P. Phillips
Kim,
I'm glad you shared that information with me.
I have my genealogy posted on Ancestry.com.
I had Mahala Malinda married to Solomon Kalar. I did not know what her last name was, and I did not know who her father was, but now I do.

I am a descendant of Benjamin Phillips (Isaac's half brother) by Thomas 2nd wife Susannah Kittle by direct lineage.

I am also a descendant of Isaac Phillips, Jacob P. Phillips and 2nd wife Catherine Bastaine Johnson, Robert J. Phillips, Malinda Jane Phillips who married Perry James Phillips.

Perry James Phillips was a descendant of Benjamin Phillips.

Reunion for Henry Co. F-A-G volunteers
Hi KIM: I will be in Missouri end of March early April. I wrote Linda Everhart (Henry Co. website coordinator), asking her opinion about having a get together of Find-a-grave contributors so we could put faces to our "handles", and talk about issues, ideas we might have re our Henry County cemetery work.
She immediately offered her home, AND a buffet luncheon to kick it off. The lady never ceases to amaze me. We are aiming for April 4 (Sat), which is in the middle of Easter weekend.
I am hoping there will be a good turnout, I feel so many of you are "friends" that I would love to meet in person.

Spread the word... While emphasis is Henry County cemeteries, many contributors in adjoining counties interact with memorial managers in Henry County and hopefully will be interested in attending this event.

Linda posted the following on the Henry Co. facebook page. You can either log on and respond, or email me if you aren't a facebooker

Photo usage
I am working on updating the database for the Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, MO. I have created GIS maps for the cemetery, blocks and lots. I have also created a website at www.englewoodcemetery.com to display the maps and for burial searches. Could I get your permission to use the photos you have posted on findagrave.com for burials at Englewood Cemetery?

Kim, what a happy surprise to open the "mail" and find all these transfers to me. Be assured I will take good care of them. I noted you had already entered the information I sent you, which makes it especially thoughtful on your part. THANK YOU.

RE: Royal Allen Straight
Kim, would you happen to have a digital copy of Rena Whitlow Gilberts publication on the Straights you could share, or direct me to where there is a copy? I would be interested in one. Thanks.

Thank you so much, Kim. That clears up the middle name mystery. I know of Rena and her family.

Royal Allen Straight
Kim, please list the source of the given and middle names of Royal Allen. The tombstone says R.A.; I have not to date located any other documentation that assigns a name to this tombstone. Thank you.

The reason George was buried in the Waco cemetery, instead of St. John's, is that George died by his own hand. He was buried in an unmarked grave until a couple of years ago when a memorial was put up. A descendant of George.

RE: George Frommer
Kim,

Ivan Gale is the name on the Stone in the Waco Cemetery.
See Find a Grave there.
Hoped you had info. Don't know if they forgot to place the last name or not! Seems odd that the child is buried along side George in Henry Wellman plot.
Without the Wellman name. May have been a grand child, but no Gales show up in my Wellman record's!

Kim,

Has been some discussion here (Waco, NE)
about George? I noticed you have made changes to his name & dates. Wondering also why he was buried in Waco in F.W. Wellmans plot and not St John cemetery, next to his wife? There is also buried next to George, Ivan Gale 2/10/1920 - 4/22/1922 a baby! Who's child is this? Is this a Wellman child?
Can you share your source of information? Family here are thinning out and need to know as much as possible! Thanks for any information you can provide.

RE: Transfer of Dempsey & Clara Whitlow
Greetings,
I am always happy to update and transfer family members. I receive many requests daily and I just don't have the time to search for an individual memorial. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial and Suggest a correction... to request an update or transfer within Find A Grave guidelines. Don't forget to include your memorial number and relationship if requesting a transfer. Thanks for understanding.

Hello Kim,
Are you a descendant of Dr. Homer Davis? I do have his book "Homer Davis Memoirs" which is no longer in print. He gave it to my Grandmother, Olivia Lura {Needham) Bandy. They were cousins.
You can email me at doe3719@yahoo.com.

Thank you, Kim. I appreciate what you said - so much.
I do have bio's for Dr Homer Davis's sons, Kenneth and John if you want to email me at
doe3719@yahoo.com, and I will send them to you.
Are we related? Dr. Homer Davis's mother was my G-Great Aunt (sister to my Great Grandmother).

Re: Charles Hirchert
Cemetery records show that Charles is buried in Block 2, Lot 49 which is south of Louis and Cora Provancha, Block 2, Lot 49. There is not a Tombstone or marker. The records show that Carl Hirchert and Margaret are buried in Block 1, Lot 45.
