|Anonymous||#11467847 Dr. Elijah Lyman|
I am seeking information on Elijah and Esther Lyman's daughter, Lucy. Lucy and Dr. John Waldo are my husband's great, great, great grandparents. What happened to Lucy after Dr. John died? Where did she die and where is she buried? Am I right, John and Lucy's son, Joseph, lived with his grandmother Esther? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

|Eric Elliott||George & Nellie (Musgrave) Relyea|
Hi, I thought you might appreciate this information. I am not sure that you have the correct burial location for George Relyea. According to George Relyea's obituary in the Toledo Blade, he was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, which I assume would mean the one in Lucas County, Ohio. However, if you have a reliable source for the McPhersson Cemetery information, would you mind sharing it?. Also, I want to share something that I just discovered, which I have been trying locate for quite a while: A is a link to the Issue of the Toledo Blade with Nellie (Musgrave) Relyea's obituary: http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=8_tS2Vw13FcC&dat=19551210&printsec=frontpage&hl=en
You will find it on page 8, column 4. Unfortunately, it does not give her burial info. Thanks

|Bob Collins||Edward C. T. Beecher|
I appreciate the correction for Edward C. T. Beecher (1892-1895)-- but now there are 2 pages for him. Please delete the duplicate memorial (#134531786)and I'll upload photo/caption to the other, more complete page.

|Bob Collins||Rev. Edward Beecher in Green-Wood|
DRAN--we have a little problem with Edward Beecher's record (memorial #76775551). It turns out that the Edward Beecher buried in public lot 15309, grave 178 (my photo) is NOT the Reverend Beecher.
Edward C. T. Beecher, buried Aug 4 1895 in Green-Wood Cemetery, was a child who died Aug 1 1895 at the age of 3 years 4 months and 14 days.
Although the NY Times says that the Rev Dr Edward Beecher was buried in Green-Wood--there is no record of it. I have a strong feeling that he is actually buried in the Beecher family lot in Grove Street Cemetery, New Haven, CT.
Wherever he is--he is not in Green-Wood, despite the NY Times article. I am therefore removing my pic from his memorial #76775551. I will let you know if I can discover his real burial place.

I found and added James, Prudence and their twins in Oakwood cemetery in Beloit, WI. After looking in to adding the family links I found them in another cemetery as well. I contacted out cemetery clerk and she did confirm that they are not buried in Oakwood so I did send it to edit to be make as a cenotaph.

You may find it interesting to look at the memorial for Nelson Rardin (#93382014) and compare his photo with Reuben Washburn (#75403560). Both men were in the 13th MN Vol. Infantry.

|Robert Peterson Sr.||RE: Eliza Lee|
Sorry, I repeated my message. I meant to inform the other person, but screwed it up. Seems the problem is someone created a duplicate record for Joseph Buckminster, (one of which had his daughter listed as a spouse,) then the two records were merged.

I am doing research in First Presbyterian Church Cemetery using five different sources (some inscriptions from as old as 1865). I find no record of a William 107600213 born 2/21/1778 died 1851. There is however a William Lyman #125311994 who died 4/9/1861 at age 85 yrs 2 mo 1 da. Please contact me (no response from you using edit on 6/15, but I know Find A Grave email has been strange lately)

Hi Don, I jnoticed your recently added photo of Amanda Brewster Judd and wondered about the source. Would you mind sharing that information? From the cropping, it looks like there are others in the photo. If so, do you know who they are and do you have a source for the complete photo?

The DAR website is being revamped, which is probably why the link didn't work. The information about Elijah Gray came from the DAR Captain John Harris Chapter (Norwich, New York.)
He isn't an ancestor of mine, but I got involved when my DAR chapter in Illinois wanted to prove that he was in the cemetery in Marengo, so the SAR could put a marker on the whole cemetery, honoring his service.
I spent a year looking for his grave, and there he finally was in a list on the DAR website.
I suggest you try to contact this Norwich NY DAR chapter and and maybe you can find out more about the whole situation.
I got really fond of the whole Gray family. They were really gutsy people.
