Burrough / Burough graves at Denny Cemetery
Dear Howard, what would you like me to do about the Amanda Burrough request? As per the information that I gave you. I would be unable to complete the request to either Manda or Amanda Burrough. Your entry does not match the data on the stone. For Grave registration purposes, I would normally add the grave to Denny cemetery myself or I would add a photo to the request and request an edit to the memorial. If I request an edit to the memorial... which one would you like the photo added to? Rhonda

Howard, I appreciate you transferring Daddy's picture to my account. I also appreciate you taking a picture of his grave marker. I was surprised when I found it! Now I'm on the hunt for pictures of my grandparents, aunts, and uncles up in southeast Illinois to add to my tree.

Again, I can't thank you enough!

Burrough / Burough graves at Denny Cemetery
Dear Howard, there seems to be some discrepancy in your entry's for this family.
The stone's are all in one row east to west and are as follows:
Burrough, Amanda, dau. of A. & R. Burrough
d. July 27, 1878, aged 7y 4m 7d (b. calculated as Mar. 20, 1871)

Burough, Margaret O., dau. of A. & R. Burough
d. October 30, 1865, aged 1y 2m 5d (b. calculated as Aug. 25, 1864)

Burough, Infant son of A. & K. Burough
d. March 15, 1861, aged 3 days (b. calculated as March 13, 1861)

Burough, John M. son of A & K. Burough
d. Jan. 15, 1861, aged 2y 5m 7d (b. calculated as Aug. 8, 1858)

Burough, Kezia, wife of A. Burough
d. Mar. 22, 1861, aged 35y 10m 10d (b. calculated as May 12, 1825)

The spelling for Burough is the same but for Amanda’s stone.

There is not any stone in this cemetery for Mandy Burough or Joseph M. Burough

Perhaps the source for your information is not correct. It would appear that John and Joseph M. are the same child. And that Amanda and Mandy are the same child.

I resurveyed this cemetery in 2007ish and there were many errors in the survey done by the genealogy society in 1986.

I would like to post the photo’s that I have for you, if you could ck your information and update I will post. Rhonda

So far, I know of conard(my great grandfather), Burtis, Carl, Nova Jane, Ida Mae and Lowell(who is still alive) However, that is 6, She had 13 total. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Amanda Louthan
Hello! Amanda (Louthan) Main - Dalrymple memorial #49152865 is a cousin of my husband thru the Louthan family. Wanted to give you a heads up that we have put thru a few SACs to correct the spelling of her maiden name and links to her parents and second spouse. I so appreciate the volunteer work you have done as it has helped me located several Louthan relatives I would not have been able to "visit" in person. Thank you for all you do. Nancy

Umphrey
Howard, do you know if Roy S. Umphrey Sr. # 116902727 is the husband of Effie F. Umphrey #116902809?
I have a marriage record for him to another lady: Alabama Marriages, 1816-1957: Groom's Name: Roy Samuel Umphrey; Groom's Birth Date: 1902; Groom's Birthplace: Groom's Age: 21; Bride's Name: Lorene Isbell; Bride's Birth Date: 1905; Bride's Birthplace: Bride's Age: 18; Marriage Date: 04 Dec 1923; Marriage Place: Henry Ellen, Jefferson, Alabama.
Did Roy and Lorene Isbell divorce after having 3 children?
Thanks so much,

Grave transfer
Howard,
Thanks so much for the transfer of Wessie White to my account. Didn't matter who had it, just needed to be one on there. I knew Wessie very well, and visited often with my Grandparents to their farm a couple miles east of ours there in McCormick.
Also her sister was my HS English teacher.
Thanks,
John Furqueron

Duplicate of one I have there for her. My ref; is #118371786 and yours is #84027729. I can transfer to you or you can transfer to me. Your choice, we just need to get the duplicate off the Bethany Baptist cemetery list in McCormick, South Carolina. I will try and get her husband, Wallace Luke White transferred to me or mine to Linda. I have the Whites in my family file, so I don't mind doing it.
Sincerely,
John Furqueron

Transfer Please
You stated, This is a duplication of an earlier Find A Grave Memorial #112500976 that has a photo. Kindly adjust accordingly.
I am asking you kindly to either transfer or add a photo to my memorial who is attached to her father who is my dads uncle. What ever is easier for you. Thanks

Sir:
I write to you to ask if the above named was U.S. Army 1st Sergeant (retired) Ernest R. Rodriguez, who was my Drill Sergeant at Fort Gordon, Ga. Jan.-Mar. 1965. His last place of residence was Harlem, Ga., which was near Ft. Gordon/Augusta.

If so, I will leave a note and flowers to this memorial you created.

In appreciation for all you do.Hope to hear back.Thanks.
