|Linda Jackson||Anna Maria Anderson #92715672|
Hi, Debra -- FYI -- I contacted the Bishop Hill Heritage Association asking about Roots buried in cemetery there and was given the name of:
Anna Maria (Anderson maiden) Root
b. 3-7-1821, d. 8-25-1904
I believe this is probably the same person as you entered for Anna Maria Anderson #92715672, although the dates are a little off. I researched online and could find nothing on Anna being married to a Root. I didn't want to create a memorial for her, since it is probably same person....maybe you'd like to check it out. Thanks. Linda Jackson

I am the great granddaughter of Henry Eleazer Houghton who is buried in Woodhull, Henry County, IL. His parents are Calvin C. Houghton and Lucy E. Johnson Houghton. I can give you more specifics if you like. These 3 are buried in the same plot along with other immediate family members. Would you be able to modify the listing on findagrave.com? Thanks! thank you for finding my long lost gggrandmother. Have been on a search for many years, and you have provided the break to finally close the loop.
Perhaps you might be able to assist me locating church records for St. Mary's Catholic Church, aka the German Catholic Church, in Ft. Madison.
the local library may have some records, but thought that you or one of the readers might have some suggestions.
thanks again for all of your work.

Thank you for transferring the memorials. I had created memorials for them earlier this summer, but I've transferred all of the information to the memorials you created and deleted the ones I created earlier this summer. It is important to me that you get the credit for creating the memorials because you found their gravesites. So there are no duplicates. Thanks, again. It means so much to me and my family.

Debra, I cannot find a record of ever having replied to your message sent to me almost two years ago! At that time you asked if I would like you to transfer the memorial for A. C. Melvin to me. If you would still like to do that, then I'd be happy to assume responsibility for his memorial. My Find A Grave number is 48139032. Sally (Melvin) Tiffany, Naples, FL

The place of death you have for him is incorrect. His unit operated in the European Theater of Operations and his plane was shot down over Bulzano, Italy. You can find the detailed information in his honoree record at http://www.militaryhallofhonor.com/honoree-record.php?id=308851.

|Herb Price||William Cale|
If you are a descendant of William Cale your help may be needed to secure a new marker for his grave from the US government. Your signature is needed on the government form.
Freeline Cale, also buried at Pitman Chapel, also needs a new marker.
