Allen Haddock - New Site Cemetery

Thank you for taking the picture of Allen's grave marker. I wish the dates were clearer, been having difficulty with conflicting birth/death years for him. I do appreciate your time and efforts.

Thanks again,

I know I just asked you a question but for the life of me I cannot remember what it was. You answered Yes, I know. They are my grandparents.
What did I ask you???

Dianna Steinbach
Piatt Cemetery Boone County, KY
Dear Sandy,

I personally obtained permission from Mr. Joe Perrin, who now owns the property that the Piatt Cemetery is located on and visited this cemetery. I have also spoken to Mr. Ron Buckley who is writing a book about the Piatt family. Sadly, there is very little left of this graveyard, as it has been robbed and vandalized over the years. Mr. Buckley believes that Hannah McCullough Piatt, Jacob Piatt, H.M. Piatt and Martha Huddy Piatt are most certainly buried there, but ALL of those you have listed as being buried here are NOT. They are interred in the Tousey Cemetery. I have visited there and obtained photos of their headstones, but you will need to change the location, as they are NOT buried in the Piatt Cemetery. They are all buried in the TOUSEY Cemetery. Thanks! Dianna

RE: Frank Pyeatt
I saw the tombstone and thought when I saw it that someone had spent a lot of time making the tombstone for Mr. Pyeatt.
I am not kin to this family but please know I appreciate the trouble y'all went to, in seeing to it that Mr. Pyeatt DID have a marker.

Pyeatt in Fort Collins
I went out to the cemetery today and confirmed that the Pyeatt graves are both unmarked. They are in the same row, but are separated by one grave. Most of the graves in that section were paid for by Larimer County.

I'm not related. I just documented the burial. If you would like the memorial transferred, I'd be happy to do that.

RE: James and Mary Pyeatt
Hi Sandy,
I am unsure whether I resonded to your email. It was such a joy visiting that very beautiful cemetery in the Huachuca Mountains. My daughter went with me. There was snow on the ground with green grass peaking through the melted area. A very peaceful place. This cemetery is in a National Park. I enjoy visiting Cemeteries, especially in such a beautiful place. I live on the other side of the mountains, about 50 miles away. We probably never would have visited the area except for your request. Both of us are so glad you gave us the opportunity. Thanks again for the chance to visit a beautiful cemetery in the mountains, on the side of a hill. What a view. A very serene setting. We stayed there about an hour looking at all the graves.

RE: A>J> Henderson cemetary

I found out a while ago about the condition of the cemetery. I'm going to cancel all of the photo requests for that cemetery. I don't want anyone hurt.

I do appreciate your trying to do this for me. I also found out that some researchers in 1999 took photos as best they could, so I have contacted one of them to see if they could upload what they had.

I also added memorials to that cemetery using the data I found on rootsweb.

Again, thank you, and I apologize for sending you on a wild goose chase into snake country.

Dee Ann
