You are most welcome. We happened to be camping close to there and I just had to see if anyone needed pictures. That cemetery isn't "manned" by any Find a Grave personal apparently. Can't wait to go back and get the rest.

|Sue Tanner||Hunt, Wilson|
Hi Carol, Just to let you know I have the correct plot location for Wilson Hunt.
What you had put in does not exist at Riverside in Spokane, Wa.
I have submitted an Edit deleting the wrong info.
I hope to be going out sometime next week and look for him amongst the others I have planned.

It looks like you did not look at the caption I put on the photo. Koch Family (John, Adam, Edith, Louisa & baby Herman c.1895)The little girl is Edith, along with her parent and two of her brothers. I had come across the photo on a family tree on ancestry and the only information I have is what was in the caption.

Hi! Thank you for the kind words.
I created a memorial for his wife and have taken the liberty of transferring over to you. Hope this is okay.
I was not sure about her year of death, but it looks like it could be 1866. I added an enlarged photo too.
So happy it helped to provide more information.
If you have other relatives in that cemetery, records are available online at greenwoodcemeterycompany.org.
Have a great day.

|Jim||RE: Margaret Crawford|
You're welcome. Her monument is the tallest monument in the cemetery and it doesn't appear as if there is any other name inscribed on it. You may have noticed from the pictures that the monument is an older wavy rough-cut type that makes it incredibly hard to read. I probably wouldn't have found it but her monument was in the middle of other Crawfords so I got lucky. Glad I could help. - Jim

Yes, it's really a very nice acre or so ... well-kept & in a lovely part of the cemetery.

It was my pleasure! Their son Alfred, a.k.a. Windy, was a good friend of my parents. He and my mom grew up together.

|BrideyLight||Sadie, Bert and Martha|
PS I noted in one of my messages to you below that Sadie and Martha were on either side of Bert. According to the cemetery office, Bert was in Grave Lot 22 North (marked), Martha is beside him (and to the north) in Grave Lot 23 North (unmarked), and Sadie Ball is beside Martha (and to the north) in Grave Lot 24 North (unmarked). Just wanted to clarify that for your records.

Dear Carol Sherbeck Spirit: I have enjoyed learning about Martha's life and family and I know you will now do her proud! Please keep me posted when you may find interesting items in the future about Martha, yes? I see you enjoy Latin. Here's a neat little ditty for you from a Woodmen of the World upright marker: "Dum Tacet Clamat." Jingle Bells! Bridey Light

|BrideyLight||Ball at Greenwood Cemetery, Arcata, CA|
Dear Carol: I located and took photographs of the one marked grave of "B. Ball" and the two unmarked graves on either side of him, Sadie Ball and Martha Ball (cemetery office confirmed this). Will be editing and uploading within the next few days, but I wanted to let you know that I found them and they are definitely at Greenwood. Will transfer Martha over to the care of your loving family hands once I upload the photographs, etc. Kind regards, Bridey

Interesting and sad. You're welcome for the photos. I also added photos today of the graves of Maude H. Ball and Richard C. Ball. I don't know if they are related to Bert and Henry.
