It's been a while since we spoke last. Hope all is going well for you. I can't remember where you live. I live in Houston. Still working on Find a grave and just came across some of our Vanpools again and saw your name.

Thank you for responding. I have now contacted the contributor of the memorial for Valentine Odneal 1860-1876 and asked for the link to be removed. The younger Valentine was Dicy's grandson. I will also contact the contributor of the memorial for John W. Odneal.
Appreciate your help,

While taking a photo of Norman's stone, I noticed his parents nearby. If you would put in a request for photos, I will be glad to take them. If you notice, Norman shares a stone with J. Sheldon, who may be his brother, but has no memorial on Find A Grave.

I don't know how to contact your blog. I didn't see the Martin info you posted until I sent you the last message. I haven't had time yet to compare it to my info. Thank you.

I descend from Arenna Martin Hooser. I have records of burials in the Martin Cemetery and have some photos. But I don't have any idea who each one is related to and who they are related. If you could share some Martin info I would appreciate it so much. MY great grandmother was Bertha Hooser Draffen Kaiser. my e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org; Thaaks!

I found a death certificate in Mo for Isiah M Martin from Carterville Mo It states he is the son of BF Martin (Ben Franklin). Mother is E Ferguson. His wife is Mary Martin. I know Benjamin is the son of Arron Martin . You can find it on the web site www.sos.mo.gov. Burial is at Martin Cemetery. I would think that is in Cooper Co.

Hi Ann, thanks for linking everyone. I sometimes think I have finished memorials, but there is always someone there to remind me that I wasn't done. Sometimes I am lucky and find it on my own. :)

|tbickellb||RE: Harlena Snorgrass & family|
You are welcome. Just in case you don't have the information, Harlena's father was Archibald William Mullins b. 1814, Madison County, KY. He was presumed to have died in Morgan County, MO around 1855. I still looking for his place of burial. Archibald's parents were William Mullins and Nancy Woods. Williams' father (also named William) fought and died in the Revolutionary War.

Very interesting and makes one realize how small the world is. Doing research in Sherman Texas I found that during the civil war many from Morgan Co, Mo and Missouri came to Sherman because it was a confederate county as was most of Texas at that time. Lots of History in Grayson, Co. My great Uncle is the first burial in Basin Springs cem. I worked to clean it up with a group in the Spring...so much fun. Hiram Lilly Murray died in 1861 after his trip to Texas. Wow, sorry I made you work so hard to find that connection to Odneal.. It was good though...see you are working on the Martins also. Take care!

Have been gone visiting my daughter in Sherman, Texas. I did have that Obit somewhere but am so glad you reminded me to post it. The picture I posted was from Grandma Emma's bible. Wm. Peyton was her nephew and was at her funeral. I can't remember how you are related. He was my mother's cousin and lived down the road from where I was born. When his father and sisters moved to Nez Pearce, Id he chose to remain in Morgan County.

It's been a while since we talked genealogy friend. I was doing some research on Sherman Texas and came across this Odneal and you had signed and left him flowers. How are you connected?

Hi again. I have looked at your site and cannot find Stephen Martin Smith. I have his father being Joseph S. Smith but I have nothing beyond Joseph. I have been told that Joseph Smith is buried in Pisgah which is a small town in Cooper County. I hope to go there before years end. I understand you must be related to Stephen and I would like to know how. I am unable to find the name "Martin" other than his middle name. I don't know how he is connected to the Martins. I am a member of Find A Grave and I assume reachable as you are. I can be reached at email@example.com. I appreciate any help you may provide. I could take pictures and post them if you let me know what ones you may want. You will notice several I have posted just this week from a trip I made in September.

Sorry for the bother. You have the correct date. I looked closer at the photo I have added along with several others. I am very pleased to have clicked on your site though because I want to look closer and see how we may be connected or what you have that I do not. Stephen Martin Smith was my great grandfather on my father's side of the family. I have just started earnestly on genealogy. It is addicting. Thanks for your contribution. I may run into you as I continue to cemetery hop in Missouri.
