Thank you for the memorial number, I can add all of the information you gave me or transfer the memorial to you. (I would need your Findagrave ID number to transfer).
Gloria.

I would like to comment that Findagrave HAS not been notifying me when I get a message on their message page.

RE: Minnie Arabella Lillie Nace Webster
Thanks for your response.
Minnie was my fifth cousin once removed. I do not have any pictures of her.
I would like the a copy of the picture of George, his first wife, Mary Elizabeth (Corbin), and their surviving nine kids.
My email address is jvnase@gmail.com.

Also, can you mark Minnie's find a grave page with "Note: No known marker for her." That way, others will not inquire.

Thanks

Find A Grave Memorial# 43194038
I request a photo of the headstone and the Find A Grave volunteer has reported that they had walked the cemetery and was not able to find a stone with Minnie Webster's name on it. They also researched "Cemetery Inscriptions of Highland County, Ohio" and wasn't able to find her name. Any idea where Minnie is buried?
Thanks

Louella (Guthrie) Hurst
Thank you for your info on Louella and her nephew. I think I finally got all the links straight. I have information for you. This stone IS Section HS, Grave 037 and is her grave.

Hillside (HS) was divided by the back road and is now called BHS (Big Hillside; the crown of the hill) and LHS (Little Hillside; the outer part between the road and the fence). The numbering is as if there is it were one area so there is no BHS 037.

I just found her death certificate by removing the name and leaving Hurst in the search. -Rebecca

Kathleen,

Of course, I'd like to add his parents to his memorial and it has been done. Would you like to take over the maintenance of his memorial? If so, contact me at CAdams5357@aol.com

RE: Old Concord Cemetery
Oh if it helps, my ancestry Id is the_regalranch

I also have Elma and johns marriage certificate which I also scanned and posted on ancestry. I didn't scan all the pages from Elma's autograph book because its delicate and honestly I lost steam. :) so I don't know if i posted the Morgan signatures on ancestry or not. If you are interested I will find some time to do it. I seem to remember there is a Morgan signature prominently in the book. But it's been couple years since I looked at it. Trying to not handle it too much. Just let me know. Feel free to email me christina.jones@thecccnaz.org and maybe I can email those to you if you want them.

RE: Old Concord Cemetery
Oh wow. That's really neat. I have letters sent to Elma from John nace. I also have a picture on tin of him. Based on his age in the pic, I assume its not too long before he died. My grandma knew John had died not long after they were married. But she couldn't remember why. Her mom knew and she believes her mom knew where he was buried. But she died in the 80s and no one else knows.

If you would like the picture of John, its on ancestry. I believe it's not private so I think you should be able to find it if you search. The letters are there too but they aren't organized. There are so many that I lost steam. The contrast needs adjusted too on some its impossible to read. I also have Elma's autograph book and there's a few entries by her about John. There also are some Morgan signatures. I didn't know who they were.

Thank you so much! That helps a lot. Hook-Morgan road I am very familiar with. That's where a lot of my ancestors were born, on the hook farm. My ggg grandma was the first hook born there. :)

Old Concord Cemetery
Last year I attempted to visit the Concord Cemetery but had difficulty locating it. I stumbled upon the Fairfax cemetery, and by sheer dumb luck discovered that was a cemetery which has many ancestors of ours. :) So it wasn't a wasted day. However, this year I would like to try again. Is there any hint that you can give me on how to find it? I drove up and down those roads where the map says it is. I just didn't see it. Or maybe didn't recognize it? Any help you can give is appreciated thanks.

Re: Davis Memorial
Thank you for clearing that up. I had a memorial stone picture for a George G. Davis, veteran. who was b. 1912 and died 1954. I thought perhaps you meant him but added another picture by mistake.

I am so glad families add memorials. It is so much better to have it that way, they KNOW the person!!!

Storer Cemetery Highland County
Hello,
I see you have posted a number of photos for the Storer Cemetery in Highland County. I'm interested in visiting the cemetery and have tried to find what road it is on. Do you happen to remember if you can get to it off of a road or do you have to pass through private property?
Thank you, Grandma Patti

One more question- Is there any information with the death certificate telling you where Eleanor is buried?

Hi thank-you for letting me view your tree. I still am unable to link them as the same person even though they do seem one in the same. We need to find them together in the 1870 census to gather a little more proof.Any suggestions as to what to search for next?

RE: Elizabeth Ora Johnson Downey
I've sent you a request to view my pages as well I'd like to see your family history. Mary Ellen McClain and Noah were not married until Jun 15 1873 and she is listed on the 1870 census in the same town(Masontown) as the Downeys. She was at the time living with her McClain family ON PAGE 7 OF 43. I haven't found Noah yet in the 1870 census so I'm not sure what town near there that he was living. I still feel this is
possibly the same family. We'll keep working on it and come to a good conclusion I hope!

RE: Elizabeth Ora Johnson Downey
Thank-you for answering me so quickly. There really seems like this could be the same family. Eleanor and David had 6 children before he want to war. He died in 1862 at the 2nd Battle of Bull Run. I have all his Civil war letters.I found in the 1880 census that Eleanor was living with her son Abraham and daughter Elizabeth (b.1869). I would like to find a census record for 1870 to see where they were living, possibly in the Point Marion area like you said near Noah her son. The other children where Albright,Abraham, Margaret, Martha and Cost. Does the death certificate list Eleanor's maiden name? Do you happen to have an Ancestry membership? I can invite you to view my pages which are set as private, but I need an email or user name for you. Maybe you will see more of a connection to this family and we can exchange more information. Let me know- Valerie

What can you tell me about Elizabeth's parents- David and Ellen Johnson? Do you know any family history? I'm seeing a connection to her brother Noah Johnson.
