Audrey Mae "Meem" Bradford Burnside # 44751730

Thank you for your help getting Mrs. Burnside where she belongs. I do appreciate it.

Mine was/is the original, it has been moved to the correct cemetery and the other members who accidentally duped her have been notified.

The tombstone photo should have been placed on mine instead of the dupe. The cemetery location wasn't given, and it was a cremation, so they were both done alike in that respect. It wasn't in the correct cemetery either.

Thanks again,

Maude Francisco, Lee's Summit Cemetery
I have accepted your photo request. I note that according to online cemetery records, there is no gravestone on Maude Francisco's plot. I live fairly close, so I'll drive by later today and see if that is indeed the case. The records don't give any information beyond name, sex, plot number and that the owner of the plot is the Langsford Funeral Home. They are still in Lee's Summit and can perhaps provide more information. Address: 115 SW 3rd St, Lee's Summit, MO 64063
Phone: (816) 524-3700. I see that the creator of the memorial included the date of death, which is not in cemetery records. Perhaps if you contact that person, he or she might have further information.

Sandy Cheney
Photo for Albert Farnsworth grave
I wanted to fulfill this for you, because I have photos of all the graves in the cemetery he is listed as being buried in. But he is not buried there. I wish I knew where he was. I have told the person who listed him as being buried in that cemetery, that he isn't there, so hopefully he can correct that.

addendum to message about Ernest Kimball
Hi again,

I had asked if Ernest was related to the Hatch family and then I read his memorial and I see that he was a cousin to Miles F. Hatch.

Henry Jones
I saw that you have a photo request for Susannah Pemberton Jones in Friends Cemetery in New London, Indiana. I came across a better image for the headstone of her husband, Henry Jones. The picture was taken by Tom Quinn.

RE: Kimball photos in Old Center Cem, NH.
I ended up only posting one with the chalk and that was Martha's. I put the one without at the top and the one with chalk under it. I was glad to help out. We travel in a motor home and when at a stop do what ever photo requests are near by. It is an enjoyable hobby.

Kimball photos in Old Center Cem, NH.
I regret the use of some light chalk to read a couple of your photo requests. The inscriptions just weren't deep enough to read otherwise. We tried water and a reflector, but neither was helping. We did rinse off the stone immediately after taking the photo. Please don't censure me about this; I will remove the photos with chalk if you prefer.

Francis Milner photo request
Hi Susan - You made a photo request recently for Francis Milner in Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, CO. I claimed it, and in the process of rounding up the grave location, I discovered that this (and a couple of related Milners) were duplicate memorials. I brought this to the attention of the contributor who created them, and he very kindly and surprisingly deleted them. Hence, your photo request disappeared, too. However, I've gone ahead and added the photo I got today to the *original* memorial (11110276). Unfortunately, Francis does not have an individual grave marker, but the family lot does have a big lovely monument. The cemetery record says that he was 67y 11m 3d at the time of his death. Although the cemetery record says that he died on March 13, his mortuary record apparently says March 10. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. -Amy

Loren Biggs
I have been working on my Devereaux line and found your memorial for Loren Biggs. His paternal grandmother was Laura Delphine Devereaux, daughter of Alvin Elisha Devereaux and Louisa Pierce. Alvin was a brother to my maternal 3rd great grandfather.

I noticed you have the wrong date of birth for Loren. His headstone clearly reads 31 May 1907 as his date of birth and 19 Feb 1908 as his death date.

Thank you for all you do for Find A Grave. Finding these memorials for family helps to fill in the blanks that may otherwise be lost.

Edits submitted for England Cemetery OKLA
In case you were wondering, the source on those "edits" I have entered via the tab system (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.

Let me know if you need something else to be able to continue processing these "Edits."

Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.

RE: Thank you!
Hi Susan,

I am so glad that you finally found Doris. If I run accross any information about her sister I'll be sure to let you know.

I am not related to Doris or her family. I have been researchiing those laid to rest in that cemetery. I'm glad that someone was able to find this information of some use.

As you are related, if you would like her memorial transfered to you just let me know.

Thank you for your Thank you!

Mary :)

Everett Thompson
Your Pecan Island Community Cemetery
About a year ago I photographed every grave stone in this cemetery that appeared to have information on them.

If the two headstone photographs that you requested would have been readable they would already be entered into Find A Grave.

I have about 8 images that I cannot read and your requests may be included in these. I will be glad to email them to you if you will send me your email address. It is possible that you may be able to read them.

My email address is

Thanks for your sources. I have used only those records I have found locally and the on-line sites for newspapers, census, & death records. You will notice that his obit says he died in Eugene, not Portland. And thanks for that link. I have transferred his memorial to you as you are family.
Sincerely, Dorothy Brandner, EPCA

Hi, thanks for your message. But I will need documentation or your source of this information as I also keep the database for the cemetery. If you are family, I would happily transfer the memorial to you.
Thank you, Dorothy Brandner, EPCA
