RE: McKee Schott
I can't believe that they would charge you to fix the problem. Its obviously something wrong w/ the grounds since so many headstones are sinking. Unbelievable what a show of disrespect for those that have passed and their families. I'm sorry that just bothers me. I understand your feelings about not altering the appearance since you don't own it. Honestly you shouldn't even have to pay for it to be fixed. but I'm glad I was able to help you by taking the photo. If you have any other family there just let me know the plot number and I'll retrieve the photo for you.

I took pictures the McKee/Schott headstone. The headstone is sinking and you are unable to see Dorothy and Henry's names. Anna and Alexander's names are only visible if you pull the grass back, but even then you can't see the dates. I tried doing this and taking a picture at the same time, but none of the pictures came out well. The only thing I can suggest is that you call the cemetery and see if they can fix the headstone. If they are able to and you want me to I will go back and retake the picture.

Next to Burton is Frances Gentle (1883-1939).

RE: I have never seen a request filled so fast
My only suggestion is that you call the Stanton NE city office at (402) 439-2119. I think they keep the cemetery records, or can probably direct you to someone who can. I do not live there, actually 45 miles away and don't know anyone so it is up to you.

RE: I have never seen a request filled so fast
That is odd. I don't have actual cemetery records so I am going only by the stone. The others are obviously related....if you want to place memorials and let me know I'll add the photos of the stones

RE: I have never seen a request filled so fast
She is next to Karl Ludwig but his stone shows dates of 1894-1989. John Louis 1868-1958, Emma "Bucholz" Dern 1870-1956 They are all together and have similar stones

William & Florence Rempe
Hi Laura,

William and Florence have a temporary marker. I'll return in each week to check for the new stone. Then I'll repost the finished stone picture. If you want the temporary one removed, let me know at that time. :-)

Michael Dirr
I added the photo of Michael Dirr's grave today. I accidentally left the date on the corner so if you would like me to readd, just let me know. Also, next to him was the grave of Helen Dirr. I took a pic, but do not see her listed on the site.

James (Jim) F. Kelly
Dirr Family
I will be adding 8 more of the Dirr Family in the next day or so:

Amelia Martha
Ida Mary
William S.I have pictures of grave markers for all of them.

I took the pictures January 12, 2012 but have not had time to enter them.

By the way, where are you located?

I knew Father Wilfred Dirr when I was a boy and he was assistant pastor at Our Lady of Grace Parish in Price Hill.

I now know Father George Schmitt who resides at Saint Teresa of Avila Parish and I have heard he is a nephew of Father Wilfred Dirr.

RE: Haggerty
Hi Laura, I just transferred the picture over and took it off the claimed picture list. I sent Mike an email telling him it is already done :). Thanks for letting me know and glad I had it there for you! Robin

Anna Kauffman
#28586910. Sorry, since you sent me the dates I thought you knew. Since I've added them (the dates) I also added a pic of the stone. When I first put memorials on Find A Grave, it took so long to upload pictures so I didn't always do it. I was always going to be 'some day'.

You're welcome. I'm happy to have helped!...JP

P.S. His plot is under a big oak tree in what I think is the best part of the cemetery,
