I note your photo request at the Campground cemetery for Michael Kenoyer. This cemetery has been totally photographed by me and another photographer. Michael's is such a great story and though known to have been the first to be buried there I have walked the cemetery several times in search of this grave and it is evident he has no visible marker. You might want to remove your photo request since you now have this information. Sorry!

Tracy Line
I was hoping you had traced the line a little farther. My line goes back to the great migration and they married into the Winslow line. John Tracy is a very common name in the line. When you research out of Ohio, maybe we will link up. Just a thought.

So has he traced his Tracy line back any farther than his grandmother?

RE: Beatrice M Johnson
Beatrice Johnson does have a marker, initially I photographed the wrong marker, a Geraldine Beatrice Johnson who is in the same section of the cemetery. I had to delete the wrong photo and photograph the right one.

RE: Benjamin F. Green
Thanks so much for searching the entire cemetery for his grave even though he wasn't listed on the names at the entrance. This creates a bit of a puzzle for me. His death cert. indicated that he was buried here and, like I mentioned, his mom is buried here. Maybe he's in the Old Burnet Cemetery with his dad. Any thoughts on where else I could look to try to confirm where they buried him? Maybe an obit from the local paper, do you know who might have been publishing obits in the area from 1880 to 1950?

RE: town name
It is in Indian Creek Township. They most likely use New Hartford post office. In the phone book the church that is on the same property as the cemetery is listed as New Hartford. The town of Ashley is near by. Hope that answers your question. If I can help in any other way please let me know. Happy Holidays!!

The Wimberleys and Winnetts
Judy, I appreciate very much your going to the Llano Cemetery to look for the graves of the three children--Foster and Lawrence Winnett and Dorothy Wimberley. All three died as very young children/infants. Their death certificates indicated a burial in Llano Cemetery. It is also the cemetery where their family had been buried for generations. William James Wimberley died in Austin, but his death certificate too indicated a burial in Llano. His parents Isaac and Texana Wimberley are buried in the city cemetery as are two of his sisters. But I'm giving up ever finding these four graves. Again, I thank you so very much for going out to search of them. Please come to Wimberley when you have the chance, and I'll arrange a tour of the Wimberley House and cemetery where William's grandparents lived and were buried. Best regards!
