RE: Morgan Family
Dear Corinna,
Thanks for your kind offer. I would add any biographical info for you to Find A Grave memorials I manage. Just click on the memorial's EDIT feature.
To find all my memorials, click on "My Virtual Cemeteries" and find the one titled "Va/W.Va Morgans & Langenbergs". Click on that and they are listed for you.
My husband is also descended from the Morgans.
His are titled "CT Morgans".
Finally, I'm on ancestry.com. Are you? I can invite you to my Family Tree and vice versa if you interested.
It would help me if you invite me. My e-mail is jeanthomson@frontiernet.net.
Thanks again, Jeanne

RE: Morgan Family
Dear Corinna,
We are indeed cousins.
Gracie West married Arthur Morgan.
Arthur was my grandmother's (Retha Alice [Morgan]Gregory) oldest brother.
So, Gracie & Arthur were my grand aunt & uncle.
Vivian & her siblings were my Mom's 1st cousins; and mine once removed.
It is hard to lose our parents. Mine both died in 2007. That was about the time I got more serious about our genealogy, too.
I've been on FindaGrave about two years.
Thanks for writing,
Jeanne

John Joseph Koenig 1911-2002
Hi Corinna
Very interested in Geneology, I wondered if John served in US forces in WW11 in europe during 1943-1945. If there is a connection I have some information of interest for the Koenig family.

RE: Vivian Charlotte Koenig
I do not manage Vivian's memorial. I originally created it, but you manage it now. I must have transferred her to you.

Click on the Edit tab by the family links and add her parents' memorial numbers in the appropriate spaces. She will be added to their list of children.

Andrew Carter
Hi Corinna,
I just added the photos per your request and I wanted to let you know that on the death date of Andrew, I couldn't make it out exactly once I returned home. (And of course I didn't write it down while I was out at the cemetery - I will know better next time!) I do realize the stone is hard to read. That side is facing towards the north and there is a huge cedar tree not too far away so maybe that has added to the build up on his side of the stone - ? I did try washing it with water only but it didn't seem to help very much. That date looks like "Feb 30" in the photo but that couldn't be right! I will go back soon and find out the exact date for you and will be sure to let you know. I will also update the comment on that picture. I might try to get a better photograph also. Also just to point out...on his stone it said he was 36 years old at his time of death. Then if my math is correct, on this site it would be that he was 33 years old - right? Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Corinna,

Thanks for taking the time to do this. All I have is that she's buried in the Mt Abbey Mauseleum, so I'll call there tomorrow to find the spot. Will get back to you.

Thanks.

Cuyler, I know it well.

I'll get over there as soon as I can. It isn't very large, so if the stones are legible they shouldn't be hard to find. From the 1860's there is an excellent chance.

RE: Gates Family
You are very welcome. I am a firm believer family takes the best care of family even if they are distant related. I sure hope to see some nice bio on them.
I will be taking the photos of the monuments as soon as the snow is off the ground here in Springfield. It snowed on Fri. and now Mon. still not melted.
