Clara Brock
Hi There ~

Back in February I sent you a request to link Clara Brock to her husband & parents through the edit/sac function but it doesn't look like you got it. Here's the link to her memorial:

Please link her to her family as follows:

Father - Joseph Fleck - 6287008
Mother: Rebecca (Beers) Fleck - 6287011
Spouse: Wiley Brock - 6272915

Source: Missouri Death Certificate

Thanks so much,
Diane Winters

RE: Hazel May Carter
That's a wonderful photo Mark! You did a nice job of getting it presented on the page. She was a very pretty lady.

I've been quite behind myself. My cousin-in-law ?? died in Springfield, MO and I just got back from the services. That and I've been working on my elderly neighbor's house (several projects). Anyway, have you had any luck? Dwayne

Thank you for reading my bio. I don't mind if you add me to your friends list. I really enjoy this site and enjoy taking the pictures and trying to help people find information on their ancestors.

I Remember When
RE: Barbara Hilton
Mark, there is no need to ask about adding people to any of your virtual cemeteries. That is something anyone can do. I have no idea about her teaching career. You might contact the Carthage R-9 Administration office at 417-359-7000 and they would be able to tell you.
Best regards,

Hi Mark, I am doing good. I am happy to hear that you're back on your feet. I moved back to Kansas City last fall, I am still using the camera that you found for me. Hope to talk to you soon.

Most of my Franklins were from Baltimore, MD. NEver heard of any going to Ark. SOrry.

I see in your profile your researching the Franklin's. My mother was a Franklin. Where are your Franklin's from? Maybe we have a link.

RE: Geo Hornback
Mark how interesting, the Davey's owned it many years and she allowed the Y M C A or scout troops to camp which I was one in the 1930's.

If the group still exists that placed the plaque, they may have info on George, and or the Carthage historic group.

Where are you now living. I left Carthage in 1944 and my father, Luke J Boggess died in 1974, last of our Boggess clan who arrived from West Virginia September 1889.

Hey Mark, thank you so much for putting this up. I am married to Rob's nephew Jerry. He hadn't seen these pics before. He says he remembers who you are. Their other brother's name is Mike. He was still alive the last time that we know of.

Yes you may add me as a friend.

Those Moores are also part of my Crouch family and I have some info on them. I also manage some of their memorials-go on my page and look them up. Looking forward to exchanging with you in the future. Possible cousin.

Is your Moore family the Rowena Elizabeth Crouch Moore family that is buried in Fairview Cemetery in Joplin, by any chance?

Hateful people
Mark I understand what you are saying I just had one that was not even related to my great grandmother demand that I send proof of the parents. I did and then just to add a jab at the end I said that my grandfather would surely know who his grandparents were and I'll be darned if she didn't reply well of course your grandfather would know who they were or something like that. Well would she transfer? No, but she did add a notation. I decided that I was not going to go through a totally unrelated person (who checks all my research) every time a change has to be made and then get snide remarks, so I contacted Find A Grave and informed them of what had taken place and gave them the same info.Plus I asked them to transfer to me. Hang in there and don't give up your site just because of some hateful and spiteful people. There are ways to get around them. Plus there are more nice people out there than them. Lisa Lamp

Unless you want me to fix up the memorial for you, don't transfer her to me. I believe the below is her death certificate and you can add information to her site using this information. The dates are the same as on her memorial, although the full name is different, Emma must have been the name she went by.

If you will send me a SAC with all of the information you want added to his memorial, I will be happy add it.

Don't you think it would be better to post the photos you have on the memorials for each individual rather than on his memorial? If you don't have the software to resize the photos, I will be happy to do it for you.

For your 3rd great grandfather, if you go into the second choice for the cemetery "other" click onto it and the next to the last option is non-cemetery burial. Choose that, and then in the box below add where he is buried, on the farm site. That will say just what you want it to say.

I accept your apology.

RE: Thank You, sarah
I have to wonder about people who 'hide behind their monitor,' because most of them wouldn't have the strength to be the same way in person.

I hope that God works hard on them & their heart until they can no longer stand the guilt and their cold stony heart will melt.

I'm glad that you survived May 22 & I can only guess what you've been through. It came within about 5 miles from our house but God lifted it up so it would miss us then it set down to the east of us, traveling on toward Wentworth.

Keep your chin up, and may there be less & less mean spirited individuals for both you & I.

Hello There:
I no it's been a long time but have not been doing this much lately. I understand how you feel about some of the people on this site. But I have to say that most of them are great people. So don't they those few get you down. If you take down your site they win. And I don't think you want that. I ran into a women on this site that demanded I give her proof of what I was trying to tell her. I would have given her all of my information if she had not demanded it. But will I take down my site because of people like her NO. There is good and bad in all of us. Just look to the good and things will be alright. You can take down the negative comments and just leave the good ones up. I have:)
Hang in there:
