I was wanting to get some information on Pat's father, Aubrey.....Aubrey is the grandson of my Grandfather, David Murrell Jameson, and I have a lot of holes in the family tree. Was wondering if you had any information you would be willing to share, please?
Thank you for your considerations.

Just a note of thanks for the photos. Jonathan & Elizabeth Isbell Land were my 4 x great-grandparents. 20-25 years of genealogy research, I've traced my paternal roots to the NC mountain Counties ( Alexander, Caldwell and Wilkes ) I'm lived all my life ( 65 years ) " across the mountains " in east Tennessee. Thanks again ! God Bless !

Many thanks for sending his parents' links and for your kindness and generosity regarding others using photos you have posted. You have provided the essence of what Findagrave should be about: gladly sharing, common sense and simply respecting others with tactful communication.)

|Patti Lee||David and Ada Isbell|
Sorry you ran into a rude person on Find-a-Grave. I don't know why people do the work if it isn't to share information along with the photos. So I added the info on Ada to David's biography. At least that way people will know more about her if not on her memorial. Patti

Rechecked the St John plot and sexton records for Magnolia Cemetery. Results were negative on both for Mary Gaines and/or Mary Morris.

|G-Man||Photo request for Mary Gaines|
Checked the St. John plot and found no headstone for Mary. Did a search for her on the Morman site familysearch.com and found the following:
which shows her as Thomas St, John's mother-in-law with the last name of Morris. Further search indicates a marriage between "May" H Gaines and John Morris, 5/2/1825, two years after the death of her 1st husband Fancis Gaines:
Will recheck the plot tomorrow to see if there is a Morris buried in it and check the sexton records for Magnolia to see if she is buried elsewhere.

|Doug Carroll||Sarah Sally Florentine Furlong|
You posted a note on Find A Grave Memorial# 48410256 for Zachariah Isbell stating his mother was Sarah Florentine Furlong. Zachariah's sister Florentine Isbell Pendleton is my 3rd Great Grandmother. Zachariah was the guardian of my 2nd Great Grandfather William Pendleton, Florentine's son.
Some have Sarah's maiden name as D Abney or Dabney. I was wondering what factual evidence you might have that supports her maiden name being Furlong. Thanks.

While at this cemetery getting pics for the Hodgins I found the McGriffs next to them. I tried to take pics and add info about these stones. I did add 2 people. One is John Jr. McGriff's wife Edna Earle Oakley McGriff and the other I'm not sure of the connection. Hazel McGriff Whittle has a foot stone on the back side of the Hodgins tombstone. If you need them please ask for them through edit. God Bless.

|Cecil Vaden Jr.||Creekmore Family @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston|
I see you added a picture request for the Creekmore Family @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. I try to go there at least every other week. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find.

Hey, Mark and I have been to both cemeteries... I am trying to find the reference to her being at Collinsville but we could not find a stone when we went there either... I am pretty sure she was not with Solomon S. Clayton as I photographed that one and would have noticed... ~ Liz

Ray, do you by chance know where Raymond Sidney Eberlein may be interred? The Eberleins were my neighbors on Laurel Drive in Toulminville and Sidney and I used to ride bikes all over the neighborhood and went to the same schools. His dad James W. had an ambulance service and kept a big ambulance parked in his driveway all the time. Thanks, Caretaker

|Marian Ritchie||William Riley Isbell|
Thanks Ray for sharing the information with me on how to add Florence as his wife. I will indeed try to get the memorial and maintain it. I should also add his parents to the bio I wrote for him. Sometimes my brain just doesn't work at all. I'm trying to put as much information as I have researched online where I can. I think I told you my younger sister is in a lock down unit in the nursing home with dementia. I hate to admit it but I will not be far behind her. It runs in our family on my fathers side. Another reason I've got to get some of the information, photos, and such out to other people while I can remember what's what. LOL Thanks again for all you do. Merry Christmas to you and yours,

You're welcome. I've been waiting for the grass to die down in the oldest section of the cemetery to see if I can identify the older stones.

Hello again Ray...just wanted to mention a book "Historic Clarke County" Second Edition, published about 2005. There is a lot of info about the Kirklands which may lead you to some relatives you were not aware of. My book was a gift. You may already have one or can find it at the local library in Quitman or through the Clarke County Historical Sociaty. Thanks, Caretaker

Hello Ray..sorry to say I'm not a relative, but have always found the Kirklands to be an interesting family in Clarke County. Wish I could be more helpful in your quest. Thanks, Caretaker

My GGMA was Jane Adelle (Loper)Spence. I also have a cousin, Michelle Brown Wass who is closer to the Angevine family than I am. She lives in NY and I live in AZ.
