Thank you for the nice messages - it is appreciated. I must admit though, my son went out and got these photos for me today - he enjoys the search as much as I do! I'll pass along your kind words to him.

You are quite welcome for the photos - be sure to check your edit tabs for correction on the name spelling according to the stones.
Still having problems coming up with all the Searights and Ramseys - but we are still looking.

Jo, this is the new feature I was talking about. You can now edit Julia Compton on the edit button. You fill in the information-names, locations, parents, spouse, memorial numbers, whatever you like. Then on my profile or contributor page I get an edit window and all I have to do is accept edits and they get done. This even works for inactive memorials (don't know how, but it works). Lot faster than going back & forth with e-mail. You can also decline edits if you think they are incorrect.

Jo, doesn't matter which memorial you delete. Wondering how you like the new edit function. It sure is easier, but I wish there was a way to automatically see who sent in corrections/additions. I check out as many as I can but only on families I know about. Good to hear from you, Anne

|Mike Stewart||"Rex" Stewart|
Hi. My name is Matthew M Stewart and I believe I maybe a relative of this "Rex" Stewart that is possibly missing link for the tree. I believe the M. Lee Stewart probably stood for Max Lee Stewart and at some tie they probably dropped the Max and he just went by Lee(Civil War popularity). Lee Stewart went on to marry Millie Stewart and have a son Max Dillahunty Stewart that is my great grandfather because his son is Max D Stewart Jr.(my grandpa).Skipped a generation with the Max but my son's name Max. I believe that is where the tree split. I am trying to trace the Pauline Stewart. I found a census for a Lee and Millie Steward that I believe is them and it says his mother was born in Louisiana so I have a clue. Thanks for your work on Rex Stewart and David C Stewart. It gave help when I was stumped.

My pleasure! I was born and raised in Tyler and visit relatives often. My maternal and paternal grandparents are buried there and I just now got around to taking photos of their graves.

I'm coming to Galveston, TX next week one day. She is my great aunt on the Lampert side.

Memorial deleted. I try very hard not to make duplicates, I check these grave sites on find a grave pretty good. Just not always perfect. Randy Knight put a picture of his stone on my site. You may want to contact him and see if he will add it to yours. Thanks for the heads up. Phil
