Daniel Logan Pic
Kerin, the photo that I posted for Daniel Logan was actually for M A Logan. I posted it by mistake. I am trying to find how to correct this. There was a partial headstone for Daniel Logan and I have a photo of it, but I don't know how to post it without a request.
You may contact me and I can send them to you be email.

Hi Kerin,

I just transferred over Betty's memorial to you but realized since I never answered that you had just made your own. I cannot deleted mine now since it is already transferred, can you just delete it please so there is not a duplicate.

Sorry for never answering, I had taken a break from this site for a while and am just now catching up on the gazillion edits requested :)

A burial location is needed to fill your photo request. The Restland office provides locations ONLY to family members. Please call them at (972) 238-7111 (the office is also open on weekends) and they will be glad to help you. Normally they will look up the location while you wait.

I (or another volunteer) will be honored to fulfill your request, typically within a day or two. If you created the memorial and prefer to edit it to show the plot location, that would be fine as I check the Restland photo requests regularly as do other volunteers.

Thanks for your assistance.

Hello, I saw your photo request for Willie Mae, however, there is already a photo uploaded for her memorial. Are you wanting additional photos?

found your site. My mother, at the time Martha Rose Burkhart, married Lawson C. Burkhart in Galveston, Texas in August 1949. I remember Minnie Burkhart well. She lived in her little white farmhouse near Salado. Hwy 35 had not yet been built and she had about 200 acres. The most wonderful part for me was going to church with her at the little church on the river. Usually some girl would ask me to go home with them since I had been with her all week and no children were around. I also remember helping her brush her hair. She had the longest hair I had ever seen, almost to the floor. She braided it and put it on her head in rows. She was a really sweet and giving lady. She had quite a few children. I remember a daughter in Waco and one in Texas City. The boys I remember were Billy and Prentiss. I don't know the year that Lawson and Mother divorced as it was after I was married. He had been married before and had a son named Teddy.

Daniel and Mary Logan
When it starts getting cooler weather and all the undergrowth dies down, I'll go to the Logan Cemetery and see if there's anything left there...if so I'll make these pix. Right now it's grown up so bad I doubt you could find a grave. Karen

Betsy Nuche
I'm sorry - I misspoke in previous message - Betsy Nuche Pirano was born in June 1920 and Betty Nuche Catalena was born in Nov 1920...

Anne Scamardo
Betsy Nuche vs Betty Nuche
Hi Kerin,
I was doing a little more research on this section of the tree and I saw that I had listed on the memorial for Betsy Nuche Piraino (# 41407191) that her parents were Sam Nuche and Katherine Melasky.
Do you have any sources to verify that link? I think I have confused her with a cousin Betty Nuche Catalina (# 41269606)
They were both born in November 1920. If you have any clues or an obituary for Betsy Nuche Piraino I would appreciate any more information you can give me!

RE: Roseanna Townsend LaSchum
Sorry Kerin, I don't know where Thomas is buried. I would guess he probably doesn't have a stone.

Added by Kris Townsend on Jun 12, 2013 2:52 PM

I had a friend go to the cemetery and take your requested picture- but I need your home email address in order to forward it
The stone is a lighter stone- that makes it hard to read. Which is why I wanted to forward it on to you

Fannie and Asberry McAfee

My husband and I were looking at your request for Fannie and Asberry McAfee in Rosebank Cemetery. They are not listed in the cemetery transcription that was completed in 1975. I did locate their children - Thomas, Minnie, and Dee but Fannie and Asberry were not buried at the same location. The transcriptions are not always 100% complete so if you have any additional information such as lot or location or would like us to research obituaries and public records just let me know.

We have found no record of his burial yet. Only Rosanna has a marker at Rosebank, which we photographed. We will add him to our "to do" list & check the cemetery records and look for an obituary. Perhaps he is there but has no marker. Jon

Thank you for all your hard work and most of all sharing. That means a lot to people who live in one state and have so many deceased relatives in another. You are appreciated.
